Productivity is a weird, isn’t it? I mean, I didn’t feel very productive yesterday even though I finished two books, finished a dragon egg, painted some wands and started cleaning my office 🤔 but I didn’t get any writing done so I didn’t feel productive. The mind is a treacherous place sometimes, which is why I’m finding using a planner to help keep track of my daily accomplishments is helping me from falling into the “I’m worthless” wormhole 🖤 but I feel better today, my mind doesn’t feel like it’s been stuffed with gauze so here’s to a better today 🥂 speaking of writing, I did finally break through the first 10,000 word #nanowrimo milestone the day before yesterday and that feels pretty good 🙌🏻 #igwritersnov prompt today is #novelresearch and I do a lot of that for this book. A society set in the extreme principles of #capitalism with a warped sense of #democracy wrapped within those ideals requires reading a lot of political, economic and sociological theories 🤓 (is my nerd showing yet?) I also spend a lot of time on google asking lots of questions about disease, biotechnology, and surgical procedures, and sometimes research is terrifying 😳 what can I say, there’s some interesting things happening in this book 😂😳🤷🏼♀️ #readwritenovember is #tbt when did I start writing? Man, I’m not sure, honestly! That journal is from high school with the requisite cringe-worthy angst poetry and random short stories 🙈 no I won’t show them 😂 and I have a story in that pile from when I was maybe 11 or 12? 🤷🏼♀️ #letswritenanowrimo2017 wants to know if I’m writing #firstperson or #thirdperson in this book, it’s all 3rd. With alternating #POV, it felt more natural than both 1st, or even alternating 1st and 3rd. The story isn’t one character over the other but both. 👩🏼💻 what’s your Throwback Thursday? When did you start doing a hobby or activity that you still do today??? And what is it???
