Any #howlers out there??? 🐺⚔️🐺 The #redrising world just keeps growing and I couldn’t be happier!!! I’ve been collecting these little beauties for the last six months 📚 I couldn’t decide which cover set to buy, so of course I had to have both 🖤 swipe to see cover B 📖 every day brings us one day closer to Iron Gold and while I’m so excited to read this continuation of Darrow, Mustang and Sevro (to name a few), I have a feeling @piercebrownofficial is going to leave us with a punch to the gut 👊🏻 the things we do for our #fandom love 🖤 I haven’t gotten many words down today, but hopefully I can get another 1,000 done tonight. I passed 15,000 yesterday which is about the halfway mark of my initial goals #readwritenovember #wordcount 🙌🏻 #igwritersnov I don’t really have #novelaesthetics it’s not how my creative mind works I guess. I think one of the things I most look forward to about getting published is the possibility of #fanart I think seeing someone bring my words to life would be amazing 🖤 #letswritenanowrimo2017 my #writingspot is usually my bed, but sometimes my office. There’s something about cuddling with my sleepy puppy that gets the words flowing for me. She makes a good assistant and an even better #writingcompanion 🐾👩🏼‍💻📝 we’re all part of #fandoms in this #bookish world, but there are some that we love just a bit more than others 😍 what fandom are you obsessed over???

Happy Sunday!!! I am one of those weird freaks who enjoys this annual roll back of time! I luxuriate in the extra hour today and love the extra night hours. I know, I’m odd. I do sympathize with the bearers of littles who don’t ever seem to get the memo about the extra sleep though 😳 you guys can all point and laugh at me when I cry over the time change in spring 😭 I do plan on using this extra hour for more coffee, reading and catch up on writing 📖📝☕️ yesterday for #nanowrimo I managed to squeak out 1,023 words. Not bad considering I didn’t even start until 9pm 😳 today will be better though 🙌🏻👩🏼‍💻🙌🏻 #readwritenovember prompt is #rememberremember characters who remind you of your characters (guy fawkes) 🤔 this is tricky for me. There are definite books that lend character traits to my novel and it’s characters, but this poem always makes me think of Kip. And in other ways, the entire society. He sees the injustice and imbalance between the powerful and powerless, he sees the reluctance of anyone to fight or rally or do more than exist. He rages against the unfairness and wants people to rage with him. Of course, nothing in life is ever easy and perhaps his desires are nothing more than selfish impulses driving him towards a path of self destruction. Are people wasting the vibrancy of their lives? Or are they embracing the opportunities afforded to them? I suppose I should get to writing to answer those questions 📝👩🏼‍💻📝 which actually brings us to #letswritenanowrimo2017 is #plannerplantserorpanster I am for sure a #plantser 🤓 I have a general plan, and some areas are definitely more planned out than others, but when I write characters sort of come to life. They do things I don’t expect and so I have to be flexible enough to allow their journey to unfold. I love when I’m reading parts I wrote months ago and am swept away, sometimes even surprised at the story, and I’m the one who wrote it! 📝👩🏼‍💻📝 I don’t have any #authorswag yet for #igwritersnov but I’m curious what kind of #swag do you guys like getting from authors the most???

It’s Fri-YAY!!!! And this mug from @booksparks sums up my weekend! It’s booked 📚🤓📚 I’m reading #aftermidnight currently and am halfway through. It’s #historicalfiction and the scandal and intrigue is fantastic!!! I need to know what happened in France and I need to know what’s going to happen with Alix!!! Cue the reading music 🎶 (side note: who sings the song After Midnight because I can’t get it out of my head since I started staring at this title 😳) #booknerdproblems 📚🤓📚 this week, the featured #FRC2017 book is #adangerouswomanfromnowhere and I can’t wait to dive in!!! A woman, determined to rescue her kidnapped husband in the #wildwest YES PLEASE!!! I haven’t read many westerns, but I am so happy to have a strong female lead in this genre 🙌🏻📚🙌🏻 okay! So the update you’ve all been waiting for! #nanowrimo has been going well! 📝 #letswritenanowrimo2017 #writingupdate 🤓 I clocked in 3,157 words yesterday, bringing my total count to 4,634. Ideas are flowing and I forgot how much I love this book 🖤 funny how fear and doubt can be so insidious and take over 🙁 📝 #IGwritersnov #writersuniform comfy pants and a shirt and of course, my sidekick, Iyla 🐾📝🐾 although, now that my friends @thepagesinbetween and @trissinalovesbooks gifted me a few divine masks like the one pictured, I may start wearing them when I need inspiration 😂 or you know, whenever 🤷🏼‍♀️ 📝 #readwritenovember #introduceyourWIP 🤓 I’m writing a science fiction/dystopian in an ultra capitalist society. I have two main characters, Omani a Class B citizen, and Kip, a Class C citizen, and the narration alters chapters between them. This is the first in a trilogy, and the working title is Anger Like Fire 🔥 I have a synopsis and an excerpt on my #nano page if you’re interested 📝 I need more coffee, so I’m off! It’s windy here today, so this is a perfect day for reading, writing and tea ☕️ what are your plans this weekend???

November is here!!! Well, November arrived yesterday, but who’s counting? Oh, yeah, #nanowrimo is counting....... my words 😂😂😂 okay, maybe I’ve hit the caffeine a bit hard this morning. But can you blame me?! @bookloverscoffee sent me ALL THE COFFEE and believe me, this month I’m going to need it! In honor of #nanowrimo2017 she released an EXCLUSIVE special blend 😋☕️😋 #writersfuel is a heavenly blend of #ChocolateCoconut and it is delicious!!! Chocolate because let’s face it, we writers need chocolate and coconut for brain power 💪🏻👩🏼‍💻💪🏻 and also to dream of writing on a beach on an island 🌴 *sigh* ANYWAY!!!! This is a limited time flavor so once she sells out, it’s gone 😭☕️😭 so I mentioned #nano yesterday and today. It’s my first time! I wrote 1,477 words yesterday.
