After needing a moment to take all of this in and checking out his apparent "Apartment" the Driver brought him to--(Apparently he got Roommates or something. Well, whatever--It's not like he's planning to stay for long. Although he STILL wants to know why the Driver has expected him, or at least strangers around the pit to appear.)---Clive quickly hurried to go and explore, perhaps ask around, see if this issue is a common thing around here or not. Unfortunately, stuck with this childish Notebook that will have to make due for Notes.

Usually, he'd be intrigued by such a Mystery, but only if it'd be a side-thing; Not him just appearing here out of nowhere...While being as busy as this, too. Thinking about it, the longest duration so far where he was missing in either of his Jobs, was 3 days. Clive got 3 days to find a way out of here if he doesn't want the consequences to follow. ...And definitely not over a week. God knows how much chaos would be if he'd be missing for that long. But, there's no use to dwell on it. Focus.

It didn't take too long for him to see another Person---assumingly a citizen---which he approached promptly. They seemed...approachable enough. Quite a beanstalk with terribly messy Hair, but who was he to judge.

"Excuse me, Sir--Do you have a minute?"

She has to remain inside when it snows, even though she doesn’t really want to. Everyone told her to - told her it was too cold, that it’d be too dangerous, that she’d get lost or hurt. She listened, but that didn’t mean she had to like it.

She just wanted to paint the snow. It was beautiful - something about the winds being so fast and the snow getting higher and higher was even more beautiful, in some strange, otherwordly way.

Nothing’s stopping her from looking out the window, at least. She takes her easel, palette, and paintbrush (the ones she just bought with your limited funds) and sets it in front of one of the windows of the manor, so that she can see the rest of the city outside. 

And she begins to paint, a landscape. Tall buildings with their lights turned on. Dark stormclouds overhead. An empty world, devoid of people, buried in white snow.

She’s so focused on painting she doesn’t even notice the person standing nearby her, who has been watching her for a few minutes now.

hi i know u posted this like 12hrs ago but ive seen people get so nasty about making characters lesbian that it stops being a matter of being concerned about wlw representation but just straight up fetishism. coming from a lesbian w a bi character who gets this treatment as well im so sorry youre getting such disgusting comments. your interpretation is just as valid as any other. i hope they lay off on you.

honestly ?  yeah, you’ve hit the nail on the head. most of the hateful rhetoric i see about this practically screams fetishists --- and more often than not, particularly on platforms like here & twitter, they want to pit bi women and lesbians against each other so bad they’re practically foaming for it. lesbians don’t deserve it, bis of any gender don’t deserve it, literally no one does. full stop. 

i’m so sorry you’re getting the same bullshit as me, it’s so ridiculous ?  sexuality is a big part of a person’s identity, but there is so much more to a character than their sexuality alone, and the extreme focus on the physical intimacy of lgbt+ relationships at the detriment of other components as  WELL  as combining it with such toxic behavior... it really, really makes me uncomfortable. it makes me feel like my sexuality, and other sexualities, are being treated as buzzwords. as commodities. as super-special relationships that need to be treated as such, when in reality... it’s a relationship. that’s all i think most people of any part of the LGBT+ spectrum want, at the end of the day, is a relationship of their sexual identity that’s treated like any other relationship. because we’re human !  and that’s all it is !

Oh, there’s a familiar face.

Klavier hadn’t expected to run into anyone while window shopping. He likes checking out the music stores, even if he has yet to find many instruments to his taste.

“Miss Cykes, right? What an unexpected pleasure.”

Giving a small wave, he’s careful not to startle her as he approaches. Athena’s pretty high-energy; Herr Forehead has told him plenty of stories. He figures she must be pretty new to the city, given that this is the first time he’s run into her.

“It’s good to see you. Always nice to see someone from home, ja?”

Sissel not only had good memories with Yomiel, his best friend, but he had a lot of good memories with his other friends too. Lynne of course being one of them. 

And in one of his dreams, he saw Lynne, the redhead detective, ten years after the incident in the park. It was actually the first time Sissel was seeing her physically after the events of that fateful night. Kamila had used the same contraption she used at her mother’s birthday (the one that caused a terrible tragedy in that old timeline, Sissel remembered that well) as a surprise for her. They were celebrating Lynne’s promotion to detective. A little girl with lilac hair came out of her hiding place along with the black kitten to greet her new guest, then soon afterwards, a large bearded man dressed in a green coat joined the celebration. The humans all seemed happy and Sissel was feeling happy for them. When the redhead finally noticed the presence of the black kitten, she kneeled down to look at him more closely, with a feeling of recognition in her eyes.

“Oh, hello! Don't tell me you're that same little kitten...?” 

“That's right. The very one.” the large man with the green coat replied, followed by an explanation of how the kitten never got bigger even after ten years, which caused a bit of confusion, but the detective didn’t seem to mind that much.

Then a woman that looked a lot like the lilac-haired little girl called for them, but before they could start the celebration, the redhead picked up the black kitten in her arms with a sweet smile in her face.

“I bet you’re just like me. Your destiny led you here somehow too.”

The night was always the most beautiful time of the day, and Flandre didn’t think that simply because of how much distaste she held for the daytime sun.  The stars twinkling in the sky, the moon lighting up the otherwise dark paths through the city... it was only the light pollution that ruined the aesthetic, and such a thing was a new concept that the vampire was only discovering here.

“Dumb humans. They ruin everything, even the night...” Her voice was soft as she muttered to herself, staring at the looming buildings overhead and the lights shining through the windows within. She was more than ready to blast a few of the humans in there, or at the very least break the lights; but unfortunately, she had none of her powers to do such a thing with. 

At first, it had seemed she wasn’t paying attention to anyone else beside her, but when she suddenly spoke it became clear that she had been very aware that she wasn’t alone. “You’re human too, aren’t you?”

This'll teach Kay to play by herself. Throwing a ball in the park is all fun and games until it gets lodged between two branches. It’s not too high up, but definitely out of reach for a kid.

Normally she would scale the tree to get it, but the sun’s out, and climbing with a parasol isn’t fun. Her eyes land on a nearby human; she has really cool hair, and looks tall enough to reach!

“Excuse me, miss? I accidentally got a ball stuck in that tree over there.”

She points to the offending tree, trying to be extra polite since she’s asking for a favor.

“Do you think you could reach it?”
