You just fell into tears the moment you reached your room. You couldn't take it anymore. After years and years of just following him and loving him, he wouldn't accept you heart. He never really liked you.
"Hey, Y/N! Wait up!", you heard Beomgyu running towards your room, worried expression in his voice. "What happened out there?", he asked when he reached you door.
Your bedroom's door was still locked so he couldn't open it. But it looks like it didn't really matter to him as he was there, asking the question right away.
And you really didn't expect Beomgyu to know all of these. He was your friend, yes. But he was alway preoccupied to whatever he likes and is interested in to even care about you and your feelings. He even took you to the movies without your consent just because he felt like it.
He was always like that so how and why should he care? He was your bestfriend, but it's as if you were nothing to him.
If he didn't drag you there, maybe you wouldn't see Jaehyoon hugging your bestfriend. Maybe you wouldn't see them break up. And maybe, you wouldn't hear the following words that would soon break your heart.
Jaehyoon was a guy you really really liked. More so than you would admit it. It hurt to you of course, when he suddenly decided to have a relationship with your bestfriend, Dayeon. They were so sweet when years ago, exactly 2 years ago, he was all over you.
He was so sweet and caring towards you, more than Beomgyu could ever give you. He would play with you, comb your hair, and listen to what you actually wanted to say. But then when Dayeon went into the picture, everything went downhill. And that downhill caused you so much heartache.
But that isn't what had hurt you the most when you saw their break up. It was the information you realized when they did.
Jaehyoon never really liked you. He never did. He did all of it because you showed him affection. The same affection you were supposed to give to Beomgyu who didn't care at you at the moment. You confessed to him once, but you thought he didn't hear it.
Turns out he did. And he used you. He used you to have as many girls to flirt with as possible. From your childhood friends, your classmates and even Dayeon. He befriended everyone who would talk to him to flirt with.
All because he wanted to know how it feels to have a girlfriend.
If this was some sort of movie, it would be really funny. Funnily stupid. But this was real life and you were played. Your heart was played.
And the bestfriend you thought would understand you outside your door was all you could blame.
"Yah, Y/N. Why are you like that? Why did you suddenly ran off?"
Funny how he could sound like he cares when he never really did. You humorously chuckled and tried to wipe your tears away.
How could he.
"Did I do something wrong? Tell me."
Ofcourse you did. Everything was your fault.
"Yah, talk to me. You're scaring me."
You wanna talk to me now? After all the things that had happened?
"Ok, whatever I did, I'm sorry. I'm a fool, you know that.", he sounded weak. "Just..please, talk to me...", he sounded broken. So broken that it hurts. More than how it feels being broken by that bastard of a Jaeyoon.
"Look, you don't even know where you went wrong. How stupid. How could you say sorry when you didn't even know what you did wrong?", you said and now stood up. "It's all your fault, you bastard. It's all your fault.", now your voice cracked as your tears fell more and more.
"It's all your fault that I'm like this. You never cared, I was always alone.", you cried and if only you knew how much Beomgyu wanted to hug you right at that moment. Because believe it or not, he never ever wanted to hear you broken like this. It hurts him more than he thinks he should. He must really be a pabo.
"If it weren't for you, I wouldn't meet that stupid Jaeyoon. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't like that guy.", you trailed on but suddenly your door opened and you were engulfed by a big hug. A very big and tight hug.
It was Beomgyu, and he was whispering nothing but sweet words, trying to calm you down. And by the looks of his hand, he did the pin trick you taught him a few weeks ago. You gasped. Both from his hug and the surprise that he actually knew it when you could have sworn he never really paid attention when you showed him the video.
"I'm sorry, Y/N. Please don't cry.", you could hear Beomgyu choke. His voice was trembling and you felt tears on you shoulder.
He was crying.
You just hugged him tighter and more tears started rolling down your cheeks. You practically wailed like a kid.
Did he know? Did he know all along and just kept quiet?
"You were always in my mind, Y/N.", he cried. "I never forgot about you, nor wanted you to feel bad. I just wanted you to be happy.", he continues.
"I thought I was doing the right thing. I thought you would be happy if I gave you independence. Because I always force things that you don't like. I tried to go back to how we were, today. But it looks like I only hurt you even more.", he finally spoke his mind that he kept for years. "Y/N, I know you still like that bastard, but I like you. No, I love you. So much, so much that I am willing to do anything just to make you happy.", his confession made you shock.
Your heart beating so fast, as if your face was becoming shades of red.
Were you that stupid that you couldn't even realize he was always there for you? That he was always just there to listen to you? He supported you in everything, cheered for you when you were sad. But your greediness turned those actions into blind eye.
Were you just expecting too much of him? Because if you were, you think he just outdid the too much you were expecting your whole life.
"Y/N, should I just leave?", he then said that got you off guard. "I keep hurting you and —", before he could continue his words, you hugged him tighter and quickly rambled your words.
"N-no! Don't go!", you said, genuinely scared he would leave you.
You felt like this was all too much. Your heart was swelling with something you didn't know. Something warm. It was all so new to you. Your heart skipped a beat, and you couldn't face him directly.
Seriously, didn't you like Jaeyoon? You even thought to yourself.
But your conscience and heart spoke to themselves.
The next thing you knew, you felt soft lips touching yours. With your toes tipped and arms on the back of his neck, pulling him closer to you.
You felt like you felt the same way too.
