I love Fiona the hippo. 🦛 I got to see her and her family in person once!

I meant to respond to this way earlier! that hippo looked SO precious and content, i really hope they treat her well. it's so hard to tell just from internet images how an animal is handled and treated full-time, but at least from what i could see she looked really healthy. i'm so glad you got to see her in person! we love a good hippo

I just now read the story about Seth and Horus and lettuce. I sometimes have to make salads at work and we use lettuce for the majority of them and now I have a new reason to hate making salads and sandwiches.

That time Stan accidentally cast his spirit out of his body and Pi had to possess it, so other certain things with less good intentions wouldn’t be able to take over it.

And to the NH AU Q - Yep, though if it’s the changeling in their human form its more like an allergic reaction (but also depends on the mental state of the fairy. could be minor or intense) and in full form iron burns them (btw you know that symbol that got burned into Stan’s back. Well i got the idea that because the metal was hot and had iron properties, it’s the reason why the burn never healed properly ;A;).
