Finding CBD Oil

I’ve been wanting to start this blog for a while, so today I’m finally going to sit down and do it. They say getting started is the hardest part, so I guess we’ll see about that!

I’m 28 and for 3 years now wellness has been my priority. Obviously I always knew that health was important, but I was also in my young twenties and thought my body was indestructible against the forces of late night partying (which sometimes became early morning), drinking, eating takeaways and all those other habits which are oh so fun in the short term, but sometimes they just leave you feeling like trash.

Doesn’t your body deserve better than being treated like a bin? Yes, yes it does!

My first step to wellness was adjusting my diet, cutting out the little binges, avoiding processed foods which I found out were just full of salt and sugar, and introducing a more natural regime. I’ll admit, I do occasionally indulge in a little green juice, but healthy eating doesn’t have to be things like that - ‘insta food’. I make sure I get my 5-a-day, plenty of grains, and I’ve really got into fish and poultry. I tend to stay away from red meat. Anyway, this is just a little intro - I can’t wait to share some of my favourite recipes with you in future posts.

The second part of my wellness journey was learning to take the time to exercise. You only have one body so make sure you treat it with care. I was never really one for sports in school or my early twenties, clubbing burns calories, right? But over the past few couple of years I’ve been getting involved with more and more exercise classes; being led by a professional who really knows what they’re doing is so rewarding. It’s also great being in a class because you get to meet people who have similar interests. My favourite is probably yoga, because not only is it great for my body, but it’s also incredible for my mental health - it really helps me chill out.

Speaking of chilling out, we come to my third and final point of my wellness journey summary. Finding CBD oil. By no means am I a mental health expert, but everyday I am growing and learning more about myself and my body - and I’ve learned that mind and body are very strongly connected. At points I’ve been plagued with anxiety, millennial stress (it’s so real), and sometimes just fatigue and burnout. All of these were symptoms of my hectic lifestyle, not taking proper care of my body, not eating properly, not sleeping properly. And this all makes sense, but in today’s non-stop culture it’s hard, and it’s not realistic to be like hey i’ve got 20 minutes, ill do my relaxing now. But this is where CBD made a real difference in my life. A friend introduced me to it, and at first it did sound too good to be true - but I promise, it has done wonders! For my sleep, my anxiety, and my general calmness.

This blog is going to be dedicated to my wellness journey and I can’t wait to explore all of these topics in more detail, especially my journey with CBD. No problem dear, I hope you don’t mind me posting this publicly because I have several similar asks! Some tags are indeed rather obscure, so I’ll talk about those instead of the more obvious ones (prophets tag, mood: soft, etc)

that one particular aesthetic I have in mind: for things of beauty that I cannot succinctly put to words an apt enough description, however a friend of mine says it is very much “Marrakech in the 1960s”

to reignite a kingdom: pastel-wearing princesses running barefoot through palace gardens, occasionally sneaking away into the mountains with their horse and a flower garland in their hair

la belle époque: for overwhelming decadence, storing the allure of gilded chandeliers and golden balls. some are true to what the name suggests, with posts about the 1910s, but there is also Marie Antoinette’s Versailles, and Catherine the Great’s parties.

every story needs its pound of flesh: not exactly an aesthetic tag, but rather a collection of inspiration of a novel I am planning out in my head. nothing is concrete, but I am certain these will be involved: neon urban dystopia, teen monsters, reality distortion, gay kids & alleyway sex.

pretty often, if we’re going by the ratio of talking to people to declarations of love! (the telling is always reciprocated) with Car it’s about every time we talk, Aed randomly texts (which reminds me I should message her! thanks!) and Jao it’s usually around something silly!

I’ve never experienced contact, so a more accurate answer would be I’m a firm believer in the possibility of ghosts!

I have a lot of great memories (and some not-so-great ones, haha we’re not going there) but one that stands out for how unusual it was was a few years back, at piano recital rehearsal. on the drive back home mom told me one of the kids said “what a sad, sad song”  and i walked on air for days after

I do! I have wonderful friends who love me and are loved back, an excellent circle of art buddies (lmao), and. my family members love me in their way.
