An actual conversation I just had with my mother while trying to explain some Hatchetfield lore ahead of TGWDLM:R which we’re seeing tomorrow live:

My mum: That weird character you’ve got a soft toy of (Wiggly) won’t be in it, will he?

Me: No, but his brother will.

My mum: Oh, okay…?

Me: Well, he’s not IN it, but it’s said later that he caused it. There’s actually five brothers, only two of them have shows but the rest of them… (unsure how to explain Nightmare Time and The Summoning from NPMD) show up.

My mum: (trying to follow along but looking a bit lost) Ah.

Me: And they have a sister.

My mum: So there’s six of them?

Me: …Yes. Look, I’ll explain it on the way home, basically any point where I cheer really loudly, feel free to ask on the way home.

My mum: (bewildered) Okay.
