THURSDAY NOV 3RD: 20:40-21:10 HÚRRA SATURDAY NOV 5TH: 15:15-15:45 DILLON WHISKEY BAR
The Tour is Over
So we came back from this tour last week. And what to say... 5 countries, 11 gigs, 17 amazing days and nights! It was worth every second! We would like to thank everyone who let this happen, each one of the promoters who were just great, the bands we played with, especially the ones who we spent most days with: the fantastic Tricot and their crew (Sho, Yuji and Lukas), cool band Mára Jede - well Mara Jade and of course Manon Meurt and last but not least, all the people who we’ve met at the concerts and along the way!
Thank you all very much, we’ll never forget. We got here a bit sentimental but hey, let’s continue! Things are going to be ornamental! Or mental... or both. More news very very soon!!
We can’t wait to see you again, the next show we’ll play at Slovak Radio at Pohoda_FM Live. If you’re not in Bratislava, you can listen to the online stream live from the concert, just tune in here.
Real Something Series
So for the first time ever we make something bigger than “just” a one day concert. It’s easier when now our little team consists of two, not just one person. Mario, it’s a pleasure and honour to have you and better late than never I’d like to say it officially: Welcome to Real Something!
And now to the main thing. We’re doing this 3-day thing which is neither a festival nor a regular gig, so we decided to call it “series”. We invited 6 great bands that will play at Fuga - our favourite venue in Bratislava at the end of October and here is who they are:
Mutiny on the Bounty from Luxembourg, Get Your Gun from Denmark, Rosa Parks from Hungary, Manon Meurt and Nuly from Czech Republic and our dear friends The Ills from Slovakia. Varied in genres, united in quality - each band has its own special thing and we cannot wait to see them live in our hometown.
Save the dates: 27th, 28th, 29th October 2015. Fuga is the place. This is going to be something real, real something...
Join us on facebook here. More about the bands and the series (in Slovak) here. Buy TICKETS here.
We have a new booking
We thank our friend Janka for being our longtime booking agent, for spending an enormous amount of time working hard to book our gigs and tours. From June 2014, Tana of Real Something took over this job. Feel free to contact her at [email protected].
The Ills have a new video...
...and it’s live! In April and May 2015 The Ills went on a road and played several clubs in Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Czech Republic and Hungary. This video for She Died at 20:00 - the last track on their latest record Zoya - was shot on this tour and includes footage from their shows in Maribor’s Gustaf Pekarna, Trainstation Squat in Kranj, tiny but so cool venue called MKC Kombinat in Belgrade, Prague’s famous Roxy and industrial Szimpla Kert in Budapest. The audio recording is from the latter.
Enough words, check it out here:
