An Update On Things/Sadhana Day #22/30
So I figured it was time to post an update on how things are going on with me in my program right now! If you hadn’t noticed yet, I changed my screen name on here from my-uhpcourse-journal to unicornhealingcare. That’s because I intend to turn this page into UnicornHealingCare.com, which is a domain I’ve already bought. It will be the sister site to CrystalHealingCare.com, my Crystal Therapy business, as this will be the site for my Unicorn Healing business’ website. Obviously the entire website will be redone. If you’d like to get an idea for what my business website designs come out like, go ahead and take a look at www.CrystalHealingCare.com as I’m sure my artistic preferences will come into this website looking somewhat similar as is usually the case with artistic design done the same individual.
I also wanted to change things to a more appealing Tumblr screen name in the meantime anyway as, what on Earth does my-uhpcourse-journal mean and why on Earth would ever want to look at that or read it and why because what does that even mean? Lol! I figured this was a bit more appealing. You may also not I’ve updated the colors and images, too. The overall design is still the same, but rather than pink and purple and rainbow, everything is now blue and white and the images for my avatar and my header image are quite different.
As for where I am in my course, I’m now on my twentieth day of my Sadhana practice! That is, twenty days now out of a total of thirty. Once I reach my thirtieth day, I’ll be moving on to the next portion of my course, which will be to complete two remote/distance healing sessions and write up case studies on them, and then to do three in person healing sessions and write up case studies on those as well. I expect that the remote healing case studies will be up and published sometime in the first week of June. Once they’re posted, you’ll be able to look at them by clicking on the link in the bolded white link words above, between the entries on this main page and the description written in non-bolded font. (All of those bolded items are clickable - if you hadn’t noticed before).
Anyway, things are going well and I’ve kept up with being on time with my work, sticking to doing my Sadhana activities with my Unicorns every single day consecutively and journaling about them in the 30 Day Sadhana section as well as keeping track of the Unicorn card readings I’ve been doing in the section for Unicorn Oracle Card Readings (though I’ve actually imparted the use of some other decks lately). Please feel free by all means to click around and take a look at the work I’ve done!
Regardless though, I’m going to share a few images now of four different projects I’ve done in the recent weeks - three being crystal grids and one being a gratitude jar. The explanations behind these activities and what they were and meant and the purposes of them are all listed in the 30 Day Sadhana Journaling section here: http://unicornhealingcare.tumblr.com/sadhana and the dates you would want to scroll down to for these would be May 11th, 12th, 13th, and then the 16th, in that order :)
An Exciting Day Ahead Today!
Today should be a really fantastic and exciting day for me! My massage table will be arriving in the mail! So, naturally of course I’m going to be practicing a Self-Healing Treatment on myself - on the new massage table (with incense, candles, crystals, pillows - the works)! I’m so very excited about this! I know I’ll probably just be sitting around with baited breathe waiting for the doorbell to ring all day, lol ;) Anyway, I’ll definitely be doing today’s Sadhana using the new table and doing a Self-Treatment session :D Speaking of which, since I’ll be using this for my Crystal Therapy business as well, www.CrystalHealingCare.com (which does include remote healing sessions by the way), I’ll be working on mastering the staging of my sessions and making the motions for how treatments will go with the new table as well! What I really need now though is a bunch of those little bean-filled beanbags in the colors of the chakras so that I can lay them on my clients and then set the little pillows over them with the crystals propped on top - so that a) the crystals don’t pick up any permanent energy mutation from touching one person’s skin to the next (even though they will of course be cleansed in between), but actually more for this - the crystals tend to roll off one’s body every now and then, which is really annoying. Some people deal with this by using medical tape, but I’d prefer to use those little bean bag pillows instead as much as is possible. It just has a much nicer aesthetic to it.
Yesterday I bought some Unicorn books by the way :) They have all been very interesting so far and I got a couple that are non-fiction and a couple that are stories/fiction. They sum up to the following... Unicorns: The Myths, & Legends Lore by Skye Alexander - This is a cool little book which I found on iBooks and am reading on my iBooks app on my Macintosh computer or on my iPhone 6s (or, I could be reading it on a tablet if I owned an iPad, but I don’t have one of those... Yet)... The topic is quite interesting and is pretty much exactly what it sounds like... It’s a non-fiction book on the topic about the beliefs on Unicorns throughout history. The Last Unicorn Issue #1 by Peter S. Beagle I’m sure many of you out there have heard of, “The Last Unicorn” ... It’s a graphic novel (in Japanese manga style) that was originally written in a format of several issues but can now be bought altogether in one book. I just bought the first Issue for $1.99 though to start with - to make sure I’m interested in the story before buying the entire book/paperback edition containing all the issues. The premise is about a Unicorn who wakes up coming to discover she may be the last of her kind and goes on a journey to go seek out the rest of her, “people.” It’s been a very popular girl’s graphic novel for awhile now... The Wonder of Unicorns by Diana Cooper This book is non-fiction and metaphysical themed, in a very similar way to what we learn and are taught in the Unicorn Healing Practitioner Course. Diana Cooper writes about her experiences with Unicorns as real, ethereal beings that exist, and goes on to describe much about them and how to interact with them and so forth. This book I’m finding to be VERY interesting and on topic right now and it’s turning out to be a great read as well. It also goes along very nicely with her deck, Unicorn Cards by Diana Cooper (see my Unicorn Oracle Readings Section to see images of the cards in this deck in my links at the top of the page). Unicorns Are Real by Jake Foster
This is just a fun little nine page/pamphlet book that reads like a tiny mini-encyclopedia that has a page or two on each of the following - Preface, Unicorns As An Idea, Unicorns As A Species, Pretty Pictures, Conclusion. I think it’s intended to be satyrical humor, but regardless, it was free and fun to read. Unicorns by Lucille Recht Penner, Illustrated by Mel Grant
I believe this book was probably meant for children as a learning to read type of book, but if you’re a huge Unicorn lover and fan of the Unicorns, you’ll like it regardless. The chapters have interesting tidbits of information and the illustrations are incredibly beautiful! The chapters include 1. The Unicorn Myth, 2. The European Unicorn, 3. The Ki-lin and the Kirin, 4. The Karkadaan, 5. How To Catch A Unicorn, 6. Unicorn Magic, 7. Sea Unicorns?, and 8. A Living Unicorn.
I’ve really been enjoying these so far! I’m also beginning the setup of my Unicorn therapy practice/business, which will include both remote healings and in-person healings, plus online and offline readings and a few other fun things. I’ve decided to name the business Unicorn Medicine and have already secured the UnicornMedicine.com domain. Today I’ll be working on fully constructing the website :D
So, that’s how things are going for now. I’m really excited about it and can’t wait to move along to the case study portions of this course, final assignment, and then get my Unicorn Healing Practitioner certification and start my own Unicorn Healing business... What fun!
Blessings, always!
Today’s Sadhana: Making A Unicorn Healing Crystal Mojo Bag w/Morganite, Rose Quartz, Rubellite, Kunzite, Petalite, Mangano Pink Calcite, Iceland Spar Optical Calcite, Pink Opal And A Pink Scarlet Temple Lemurian Seed Crystal!
Hi out there! So for all of you that have been following my journey or even explored my page a little bit, you’re aware that my Sadhana Journal is posted on its own page in the link section underneath the title/heading and image, in the list of links. However, this particular Sadhana activity was such a blast that I just wanted to share it with everyone. I’ve included photos of the crystals I’m working with (not the exact ones I have, but images of similar specimens), so you all can see what these look like. I absolutely love them! They’re all so beautiful... This was such a magical experience today <3 —————————————————————————————— Sadhana - Day #5 - May 6th, 2016 Today’s Focus: Invite my Unicorn Guide and Unicorn Team to help guide me with divine inspiration in making a mojo bag of crystals to carry around with me that will serve my greatest and highest good with regard to Soul healing; Journal Entry: My main focus and activity for today was to invite my Unicorns to work with me in creating a Soul Healing crystal medicinal mojo bag, deciding what to put in it based on guidance and divine inspiration being received during this activity from my Unicorns. The first bit of guidance I received though was that I needed to be working on healing of the soul in the areas of emotional healing that’s causing blockages and old energy to be maintaining itself/hanging around way past its time in the heart chakra and upper heart chakra areas, specifically. They tuned me into this being caused by bullying when I was a child, followed by traumatic events in high school and college, followed by physical, emotional, and sexual traumas and victimization as an adult in the past and recent past - which are now over with and and nothing like this is currently going on anymore - so even though I may still need more therapy, there’s a lingering of old energies in my heart chakras that’s causing blockages, disease, depression, sexual problems, and inability to trust that I can begin to start doing some self-healing with and that I need to be working on with regard to these specific issues. Furthermore, they seemed to think that the idea of using crystals, (since they work so effectively for me) was a great idea, and as I worked through my entire five pound collection, holding each one at a time, they signaled me as to which ones to put in my pouch. It turned to contain almost all pink and white/clear crystals! So, I put them in a pink organza bag to match for carrying around with me. They are: -Two pieces of Morganite (for meditating with one in each hand, or to place one on each of the two heart chakras to help with the healing process of my heart and emotions)
NOTATION: These two pictures look so much like my own two pieces of morganite that I could swear someone must have snuck into my house and photographed them, lol! The first image shows a very expensive, high grade (about as good as they come in) version, and I have on just exactly like this - rainbow that flashes in the center and all, while the second image shows a piece that’s not of the same grade and that would cost a bit less. The first piece would be ideal for making gemstones from. The second one definitely has value because it’s a rare stone, but it wouldn’t have much value for making gems from. However, to a crystal healer, metaphysician, or anyone using crystals in their practice of alternative medicine, the aesthetic differences between these two does not matter or make a difference. I personally am of the second opinion because I am a Certified Crystal Healer and Alum of The Hibiscus Moon Crystal Healing Academy© and an Accredited Registered Metaphysician through the World Metaphysical Association International Accreditation Board - so honestly, the appearance of a crystal isn’t the biggest deal to me as I find them equally useful either way, however admittedly it is always nice to have something that’s just as lovely on the outside as it is in what it can do to heal conditions, syndromes, and in the ways it can improve health :)
-Two pieces of Rose Quartz (for meditating with one in each hand, or to place one on each of the two heart chakras to help with the healing process of my heart and emotions) NOTATION: I’m assuming probably most everyone has seen a piece of rose quartz at some time or other in their life. For anyone that hasn’t or has but can’t remember what it looks like, here’s an image :) My two pieces are a little more transparent than this bugger here, but I have a specimen colored just like this beautiful piece as well too, though
-Two pieces of Tumbled Rubellite (for meditating with one in each hand, or to place one on each of the two heart chakras to help with the healing process of my heart and emotions) NOTATION: When Rubellite is tumbled and contains inclusions and the presence of other minerals and such, it looks like this. I have two specimens of Tumbled Rubellite which are both presently in my carry-around mojo bag now <3 ... I love this stone! It has such a pleasant, loving energy.
-Two Pieces of Kunzite w/inclusions of Hiddenite (for meditating with one in each hand, or to place one on each of the two heart chakras to help with the healing process of my heart and emotions)
NOTATION: I own quite a few pieces of kunzite - most of mine are square shaped like the pieces in the first image, but have coloring more like what’s shown in the second photograph
-Two Pieces of Petalite (for meditating with one in each hand, or to place one on each of the two heart chakras to help with the healing process of my heart and emotions)
NOTATION: This was another image of the crystals I’ve been listing off which I found in an image search that happens to look JUST LIKE my own crystals! (Which certainly makes things go easier and faster, lol). My two pink petalites are both on the more opaque side, with the sparkles, and the baby pink color (the ones with the darker colors and transparencies don’t look much like the ones I have)
-Two Pieces of Mangano/Opaque Pink Calcite (for meditating with one in each hand, or to place one on each of the two heart chakras to help with the healing process of my heart and emotions) NOTATION: This specimens of opaque pink calcite look just the ones I own of which I now have two of in my heart healing mojo bag :)
-One Piece of Tumbled Iceland Spar/Clear Optical Calcite (for meditating with in multiple ways - either with a raw piece of optical calcite in one hand and this tumbled piece on my other hand, or with one of each placed over my eyes during meditation to inspire seeing things from new perspectives, or with one on my upper heart chakra, and one on my lower heart chakra, to help me begin to heal from programmed thinking about how love and relationships should be that is faulty or incorrect thinking that past abusive relationships have taught me - the Unicorns tell me that meditating with these placed over those chakras will help my heart begin to understand love from new and different angles and viewpoints that I’d never considered before and need to work on); additionally this piece of Optical Calcite is also smaller and smoother than my raw piece, so it’s a better fit for my carry-around piece in my mojo bag NOTATION: My tumbled Optical Calcite actually looks JUST like these ones pictured here in this basket! And yes, you can see double when looking through the tumbled optical calcite as well as the square pieces - more on this subject in the next notation paragraph on raw/never been tumbled optical calcite
-One Piece of Raw Iceland Spar/Clear Optical Calcite (see paragraph above; this piece is much larger than the other one and is rather rough and chips off a lot from the surface, so this piece will stay at home for use in meditation while the tumbled piece will be in my carry-around baggie for when I’m out on the town, and which I will have on my person at all times and also have under my pillow at night. However, if I’m carrying a purse that’s large enough I may carry it with me, too) NOTATION: My piece of this specimen is rectangular shaped, like in the first image, but it has a lot of rainbows, and so I put in the second picture to illustrate what that looks like. (Some have rainbows from fractures inside, and others have rainbows from prisms on the surface, but many have both. Mine has both). The third picture is showing why it’s called OPTICAL calcite and is not the same thing as just “clear calcite.” When looking through a piece of optical calcite from the right side of the square/rectangle (it’s only visible in one direction, though this is hard to explain here), you’ll see double! You’re not actually seeing double when you look through them, though; what’s happening is that when the light passes through this transparent Calcite it bends two ways, making images appear double. These Calcite pieces naturally form parallelogram shapes, making them excellent pieces for energy grids. In general, Calcite is a powerful energy amplifier and cleanser.
-One Piece of Pink Opal in cabochon form (for placing over the lower heart chakra during meditation to help with the healing process of my heart and emotions) NOTATION: My own Pink Opal is shaped just exactly like the piece in the first photograph but has the coloring of the opals you see in the second paragraph
-One rough, pink, Scarlet Temple Lemurian Seed Crystal (for holding in my hands during meditation in order to assist me throughout the healing process of my heart and emotions; to help me feel unconditional love, forgiveness, learn to move on and not make certain negative choices again, and to receive extra guidance from the Lemurian wisdom; to tune into the vibrational frequency of the Unicorns and my receptivity to them at a frequency level than I’m not usually at (they meant a very high frequency vibration) - my Unicorns tell me this crystal will help me raise my vibration closer to their’s and have my vibration raised higher than ever before and more often in general, helping me through the ascension process of getting my light body activated NOTATION: This crystal pictured here actually IS my crystal - I own this and took photos of it. It’s very, very big by the way, too!
So that was how that exercise went! And believe it or not, all those crystals actually were able to fit in just a nice small little pink organza bag perfect for carrying around in a pocket! The large raw optical calcite and the pink colored Scarlet Temple Lemurian Seed Crystal both will fit in my purse, too, actually by the way - just not in the mojo bag that I will have on my person constantly and be putting under my pillow before I go to sleep. I really enjoyed this activity today of getting to spend time with my Unicorns and especially in helping me understand exactly what I need help with right now in terms of what things the crystals can assist me with, and then helping me figure out what those crystals are that I need to be working with for all this. I plan on trying out listening to the Living In Your Heart and Embracing Oneness Petalite Crystal Meditations tonight too, before I go to bed. This was such a wonderful gift from the Unicorns and contained so much divine guidance for me. Thank you, Unicorns!
A Fresh Start In The Course! Beginning Again...
After a two month break from this course, Certified Unicorn Healing Practitioner with Calista Dharmapreet at the Ethereal Light School of Holistic Healing, I actually ended up having to take two months off. Being a person with fibromyalgia, I’m a person subject to painful flare-ups, and that’s precisely happened. Fibromyalgia, for those that don’t know, is a neuropathic pain syndrome in the body characterized by excruciating pain in either a single widespread area, several localized smaller regions, or throughout the whole body. It’s so intense that it can disrupt a person’s life, ability to work, focus, and maintain their regular activities of daily living. No one knows what causes a person to be predispositioned to fibromyalgia, why people get it, or how to cure it. They do know a little about what causes the onset of it, which is generally a stressful issue or event, a period of sickness, but in general, it’s believed to be caused by some sort of very stressful life event, in which, once that issue is over with, this unusual pain syndrome is left in the wake of it all. There are some medications available now by prescription with which it can be treated, a multitude of available theories out there now, lots of support groups both online and offline, and in general, for most people, the illness will go into remission eventually. It may never return after that, or it may come back sporadically and/or brought back on by another round of severe environmental stress. Some people never exactly enter into full remission though, but instead have periods of much lighter and more tolerable symptoms, followed by periods referred to as flareups, which are when chronic pain diseases suddenly get much worse for awhile. How long a flareup will last is different for everyone, as is the time periods associated with both remission, as well as intermission periods between flareups. Fibromyalgia is not a deadly disease, however. So anyway, back in late February, I started developing the onset of a flareup, and by the end of mid-March, I was fully in the midst of it. The type of fibromyalgia I have is called regional, by the way, meaning that I do not have full entire body pain, nor localized, meaning one single large area, but rather in several specific locations. The locations that affect me are the neck muscles, the trapezius muscles, the lower back perispinal muscles, and the knee, elbow and wrist joints. So this is what I’ll be working on with my self-treatments and personal usage of the Unicorn Healing modality as I learn it, work through my thirty days of Sadhana, and then begin to learn how to perform the healing treatments on others :)
Essentially what happened was that the pain from my flareup earlier this year finally became so intense that I was trying to do my Sadhana, but had to keep stopping because of inability to follow-through due to such intense and excruciating pain, and so then I would try to start at Day 1 again with my Sadhana, and this process would just repeat and repeat and repeat. And so finally, I realized I just needed to take a break until I would be able to begin again and pursue my course load without the interruption as it just wasn’t turning out to be good for my health at all - physical, mental, emotional, psychological, or spiritual. So I went ahead and took the leave of absence I needed, and now I’m better and well enough to return to everything! I’m still experiencing the flareup, but it’s manageable now and I’m returning to full functioning again. So I’m back and starting fresh anew with everything again! And very excited about it, too, I might add!
So tomorrow, the 3rd of May will be my first day of my thirty days of Sadhana, which means it’s the beginning for my daily recording of my Sadhana journal entries, my free-form blogging (right here), the completion of the reading of my Unicorn Healing Practitioner Course Manual, and pulling a daily card from my deck of Magical Unicorns Oracle Cards. I’m very excited about all this and I’ll be posting here in my free-form section on how things are going, what I’m doing and working on, things I want to share and so-forth on a regular basis. And then, my self-study exercises have their own page in the links above, as does my Sadhana journal, and also my Unicorn card readings. From time to time I may post my Unicorn card reading for the day on this page too though if I feel like it - in fact, I think I’ll do that for today <3 ————————————————————————————-
Deck: Magical Unicorns Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue Question: What should I be doing to get the most healing possible for myself throughout the course of this program? Card: Wish Upon a Star
Card Meaning:
Here’s a secret to a happy life: Expect the best. That’s because life gives you what you expect. So, if you have fears about your future, your fears may come true. It’s so much better to feel happy about your future. You can do this by looking for stars in the sky and making wishes. Trust that they’ll come true (but maybe in a different or better way than you expect. Your trust is the “magic” that makes wishes happen. The more trust you have, the better. You can ask God, the angels, and the Unicorns to help you trust. They can help you heal from any fears or pain from your past so that your heart is filled only with love and happiness. Don’t worry that you may be disappointed and that your wish won’t come true. This worry can block wishes from happening! So, make your wish and then believe it will come true! Ask for your heart’s desires - they’ll come to you at the perfect time, in the perfect way. You don’t need to know how your wishes will happen… All you need to do is make the wish. Then, your inner voice may tell you to take action to help make the wish come true. The inner voice always gives you positive words and feelings, and you must listen to it so you can help yourself and others. Enjoy making and receiving wishes!
Personalized Meaning Notes:
This’s card’s meaning was pretty straightforward in what the guidebook has to say about the card. However, there were several things that stood out as specific messages for me which I intuitively picked up on. Firstly, it was answering my question in that it was letting me know that throughout the course of this program I’m taking, I will be learning to have more trust, and to stop fearing the future, which are things that have been very recent struggles for me personally. I also see a synchronicity here in that my workbook section that I read tonight was also just talking about trust issues as well and mainly that they’re called by the illusion of duality stemming from the ego. The other important meaning I see here for myself in this card is that it is telling me, or reminding me rather, to continue to work on wishing and manifesting the things I need and want for myself in life. ————————————————————————————-
That’s all for now... Unicorn Blessings, everyone!
