When you consider how many health problems are caused or exacerbated by stress, it's really not surprising that a lot of popular alternate healing modalities involve things that reduce stress for many people, like certain types of music/frequencies, gentle physical touch (often involved in energy healing), and focusing on pretty things (like, crystal healing and some guided meditations).
And like, it's great that they're reducing their stress! People should try to reduce their stress! If a healing frequency track is what does it for you, then by all means, go for it!
But also like, there needs to be more awareness of like, "doing this thing can be immensely helpful if your problems are stress-related, but not all of your problems are stress-related and some of them are going to require a different approach."
I need white people who've never even set foot on the Asian continent to understand that Chinese traditional medicine isn't what you think it is and doesn't work how you think it does because all you've been exposed to up to this point is New Age and MLMs.
Sincerely, a Chinese from China who's exhausted and grumpy right now.
The truth about natural remedies is darker—and more powerful—than we thought. Video now available on YouTube.
Crystal Healing Pt. 2
Healing is our default, our foundation, our base line, it's what we're made of.

Everything you need to know about nerve flossing
Another discovery from my local witch doctor. I never knew nerve flossing was a thing but it’s helping me substantially after a week for ulnar, median, and radial. My upper body pain level has gone from an 8 to a 4 (scale 1-10).
This week, I’m looking for similar flossing techniques to address pain in my sits bones, aka my buttocks.
All of this gives new meaning to things that get on my nerves. 😂
