The ocean was created for the yearners at heart
i wish yearning came with healthcare benefits cuz i do this shit full time
this is lowkey out of my comfort zone and pretty vulnerable for a first post, but i don't really have anywhere else to go for advice.
i'm a trans man, and i'm bisexual. i don't have any guy friends, let alone any guy friends who are also into guys. i've never had a serious boyfriend, only girlfriends, and every time i talk to a guy, it doesn't end well. the only guy that i've seriously liked and saw myself with was when i was 15 (i'm almost 20 now), but he passed away a few years ago.
recently, i started a new job, and there's a guy that i work with who i'm kind of into. he's nice, and we get along well, and he talks to me every day, even though our jobs are super busy.
what i'm wondering is, how can yall tell if a guy is into you, as another guy? i can't tell if he's into men like that. he does go out of his way to talk to me during the day, and my friends think he likes me, but i really can't tell.
i don't wanna get too into it if he isn't even a real option. i'm talking to a different guy right now (i'm lowkey not super into him anymore, he's kind of an asshole) and idk if i should just keep going with him and let it happen, or if i should stop putting my energy into someone i don't see anything with. also, i don't think he sees anything serious with me, which contributes to me wanting to pull away from what i have going on with him.
please, if you have any advice, it'd be appreciated. this is stressing me out, and i'm tired of being lonely, lol.
(i can give some more details if yall want/need. nobody in my life knows about this account so i'm pretty much an open book here) (i also posted this on reddit but i don't trust those mfs to give me good advice)
Had a mini panic attack because of my new job, didn't go in because of that. And now the only thing I can think about in my frayed mental state is a BBQ chicken pizza 😓
You're in her DM's. I'm in her shower using the expensive soaps she told me not to use and pulling her long hairs out of my ass crack
Being super picky and developing a crush anyways is so weird because i dont like most people romantically/sexually. i think everyone is visually attractive in their own way but other than appreciating looks i dont often like people beyond platonic.
Having a crush is torture because the back burner of my mind is just constantly wondering if something i said or did came off weird
Its especially strange for me because i usually do not care at all what possible negative opinions people hold about me but now i find myself passively worrying
Sigh

" Yearners are earners! " " Oh yeah yearners are earners! 👅"
People who say yearners are earners have obviously never been the one yearning. I hate how people REALLY yearning for people has become just a romanticized buzzword, but I guess its a nonissue?
People make yearning into this cute thing that happens between people who are BOUND to get together eventually, but do you guys notice it's only when they're conventionally attractive??? As someone who's not attractive at all, in public eye or personal views (I'm deeply insecure), and has been crushing on a friend of mine who's WAY out of my league for 4 YEARS STRAIGHT, It's no longer a cool thing and now feels like a matter of if I die alone or not. Yearning is not fun at all, because yearning turns into lovesickness, and lovesickness means jealously and hurt when you see others get to be happy.
And ik it's not like top #1 issues in the world and I'm a little sensitive for thinking this, im just a little sad yk?
