"Hotlines" I wrote this while thinking about work (which I have today, later on) and, in working this job that I do, my opinions are thus. See, the phone line I work is a peer-support line and, in general, people call my type of phone line to intervene BEFORE a crisis, however, I've had to handle crisis calls. As far as I can tell you, crisis lines are woefully ineffective.
