In what ways can we use Star Wars as a tool for critical thinking and ethical discussions relevant to our daily lives?
How can we apply the themes of balance between good and evil, heroism, and redemption in our decision-making process and in making better life choices?
Star Wars is a franchise that has captured the hearts of people of all ages and backgrounds worldwide. Star Wars has something for everyone, from the iconic characters and thrilling action sequences to the deeper themes of morality and redemption. The franchise offers a unique opportunity for people to engage in critical thinking and ethical discussions that are applicable to everyone, regardless of their language background.
One of the central ethical dilemmas in the Star Wars saga is the balance between good and evil. The struggle between the Jedi and the Sith reflects the ongoing battle between right and wrong that we all face daily. By analysing the choices made by characters like Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader, we can explore the nature of morality and the complexities of our decisions. That can be a valuable exercise for everyone as we grapple with our ethical dilemmas and strive to make the right choices.
Another important theme in Star Wars is the nature of heroism. Characters like Han Solo and Princess Leia demonstrate bravery, selflessness, and resilience in the face of danger, inspiring us to be our best selves. By examining these qualities and discussing how they can be applied in our lives, we can develop a deeper understanding of what it means to be a hero and how we can positively impact the world.
Finally, the concept of redemption is a powerful one that resonates with everyone. The idea that even those who have committed terrible acts can be redeemed and find a path to righteousness is a hopeful message that can inspire us all. By exploring the redemptive arcs of characters like Anakin Skywalker and Kylo Ren, we can examine the power of forgiveness and the possibility of change in our lives.
All in all, Star Wars is more than just a sci-fi adventure saga. It is a valuable tool for everyone to engage in critical thinking and ethical discussions relevant to our daily lives. By examining the balance between good and evil, the nature of heroism, and the power of redemption, we can better understand ourselves and the world around us.

Today's lesson is a graphic one, but neccessary. Caliber vs Accuracy: Robber prolly ran up caught dude slippin off guard shocked for a half sec, dude takes one big step with right gun leg to the back right around the corner of the truck unholestering his pistol all in one motion, robber reacts untrained with no practice firing shotty all low strikes dudes exposed left pivot leg, dude who practices for this very situation remained poised and in less than three secs dumped 3 shots 2 in the chest 1 in the head all without firing fearfully striking innocent in the store behind robber. Both men leave on gurneys one man's destination a cane the other's a casket. All day long erbody and they step son showcasing firearms yet in 363 days of posting and not one on the range! Yeah you got guns and prolly pull it but if you fire the whole cannon and be Super Thug on the streets, but if David strike your ass tween the eyes w/ a rock n sling shot you just a Goliath 🐈 to me. #peepgame my young bulls, #reallifelessons
4 Ways to Be Honest With Yourself
Hi. My name is Destinee. I am not perfect.
I have lied, I have cheated, I have said mean things.
I have played the victim, I have been the victim.
I have been abused, I have abused.
I have cried. I have smiled.
I CUT THE BS! I BECAME HONEST WITH MYSELF!
I am Human.
I set out on this journey to be a life coach, teach all that I know, and help others grow. Naturally, I can provide great advice, suggest others through their life problems, and provide encouragement. I found myself helping others find their smile while encouraging them to be honest with themselves and those around them. My conscious mind, my heart, my soul has always felt this energy and I've always felt that I was placed on this earth to provide a service of helping others. With this, I couldn't figure out why every part of my path had not been connecting. Why I was struggling with tasks. Why I was having breakdowns. Then my intuition spoke loudly, and it choked me until I couldn't breathe.
I realized, I was a liar. I had built a wall where my physical being was on one side, and my real self was on the other.
Recently, this wall collapsed and I had no choice but to cut the BS and be honest with myself!
Have you ever felt that gut wrenching feeling that you can no longer hide from and there feels like an energy urging you to do something you've never thought about doing...but you can't quite place your finger on what it may be? This may be the time when it's time for YOU to CUT THE BS and BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF.
Honesty can be SCARY....
Honesty can be a scary thing, especially when we have all been groomed to be perfect, but never groomed to be ourselves. Sometimes it feels that it's okay to make peace externally by people pleasing and putting up a façade so that we aren't faced with judgement. There comes a time when your intuition will speak to you, over and over if you don't listen, urging you to be honest with yourself...to be yourself. I can reassure you that being honest with yourself will allow you to tap into your inner self and love you. From here, a domino effect will occur. The more you're honest with YOU, you will be more honest with those around you. You will find yourself seeking less approval from others while simultaneously setting yourself free from the negative thoughts of "maybe I'm being judged." Your validation will come from within, you will feel your light shine and your breathing will become meaningful. You will find yourself conscious of your heart beating, your smile, and the universe around you. Ultimately, you will Heal YOU!
Self-Honesty requires steps!
1. Prepare to Assess Yourself: This may sound like judgment, but NO! Preparing to assess simply means that it is a time to reflect on both the good and bad. Ask yourself these questions everyday: What did I do right? What did I do wrong? Is there anything that I can do differently tomorrow? The key to this is to NOT be judgmental or critical of yourself. Simply reflect.
2. Be Courageous: It takes lots of courage to be honest with yourself but the great thing is, courage already exists within you. Being courageous means to stop pointing fingers while not self blaming. Owning up to mistakes is a great place to start. Be conscious in this step of courageousness. Don't take on false guilt, but rather forgive yourself and ask for forgiveness.
3. Stop the Demands: Every day we place demands on ourselves. Be mindful of the "I should have" and the "I should not have" statements you are making. Instead, when you feel yourself about to speak these words or find yourself having these thoughts, replace should and should not with PREFER statements (I would prefer to or I would have preferred not to).
4. Have the Willingness: TRUST YOURSELF enough to grow and enough to change. TRUST YOURSELF enough to adapt to your growth and changes. This is the time to TRUST YOURSELF enough to listen to your intuition. In trusting yourself, you must be willing!
Honesty Takes PRACTICE...
Be mindful of your honesty steps everyday. Make honesty a priority and your results of being honest with yourself will be rewarding. Don't be afraid of the pain, of the fears you will face, and even the emotions that surface. Being honest with you will allow you to live authentically while reaching your highest level of happiness. Being honest with YOU will allow you to be honest with OTHERS. Ultimately, you will HEAL YOU!
Are You Ready to CUT THE BS and BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF? Of course you are...I BELIEVE IN YOU!
