Thinking about: the super board mv
S5 supercorp is really something else, huh
angy & yearny, no talk them
Wow, well, that ending was definetly something else and very creative. It is really good, simply because it's not the typical ending with a time jump or something. The only purpose of the time jump, in the first half of the episode, was to show Gene and Nubsib getting together again and being happy about it. There wasn't another timejump like "ten years later" or something (mostly these are just cringey anyway), there wasn't a big reveal (as a sort of cliffhanger for the possible second season) and the ending was funny (even though I was really confused).
The whole imaginary stuff... First I thought, they were exploring the world of roleplays and thought we were gonna get a NC scene because that would be something other BLs like to do. Then I thought, they were trying to find a fitting ending for Gene and Nubsib's story to end the whole show with cringey dialogue to make fun of other BLs. But then, they made clear that they were trying to find an end for Gene's novel and I was relieved.
I really like the idea of involving the writer (don't know her name) like this. Perhaps she was really just watching a couple in a restaurant and got inspired (I suppose it went like this. Why else would they portray is as such?).
This episode has a good ending and makes Lovely Writer even more special now. I'm really looking forward to see Up and Kao perform in other projects because I think they are really good actors and the director let them shine in a good light.
