This is a simple question, but what are your thoughts on the Black Butler character songs?

Dear Anon,

It has been a long while since I listened to any of the songs, and I only remember 2 songs. Perhaps that does say something about it.

Grell’s ‘Deep Red’ really is very memorable, and in my opinion it used to be the only song of the series that’s worth listening to without needing to know the character.

The only other song I remember is Sebastian’s *takes a deep breath* “anatanokoegairoaseyoutomomeiyakunoutagasonomunenitodokimasuyouni” *chokes* (Who the hell came up with that song title? HALF of that title would have been too long). But I mostly remember that song because of the line in the lyrics: “kill me tight”.

I remember being sent into a laughing fit because of that line (≽▽≼;;) People left and right were asking me what ‘kill me tight’ was supposed to mean, and to this day I still have no idea where it came from.

Today started off awfully. Work was tough and then as soon as I got out of work at lunchtime, I found out my dream internship was rejecting me. I was tired, upset, and sick of getting the short end of the stick while at grad school constantly.

But then I saw my favorite client for our last session and we had so much fun. He and his parents surprised me with The Rolling Stones Taylor magazine and a beautiful card thanking me for all I’ve done (reminding me why I’m putting myself through the torture of grad school). And then I went on a run to clear my head after dinner, ended up getting a PR and feeling great doing it.

Idk why I’m ranting but I guess just to show anyone that needs it that even when the world feels like it’s against you (which is exactly how I felt crying in my car after work earlier today), it’s important to take the little things as victories and to not let the bad things that happen to us consume our entire day
