Day ONE, Exchange One.

So he drinks, cool with me as oviously I do too.  I can overlook the misspelling, not a big brooha for me. I can tell what he was trying to say.

I laughed because I get it and agree too much is too much, very often. lol.

And then, there it is.  The one question that makes me want to dig my eyeball out with a spoon. A hot one.  “So why no man in your life?” As if I want to explain why my last relationship didn’t last on our third exchange of words. OR as if he even actually wants to hear the answer. But, it did inspire me to write more:

At least it was spelled correctly and hey, he even used a question mark so as to actually ask and not just to be stating an observation or an accusation, open ended, like “No man in your life huh”.  So of course, I completely ignored it. Went on to question two, because by then I was looking for a way to end this succinctly and without anyone getting pissy, namely me.  So I went straight to the out.

Then, to be ever agreeable as he seems to think he is willing to be, of course he isn’t a hundo on it.  Please. 

Nevertheless, I went silent either way.  He hasn’t wrote back thankfully.

But here’s the lesson. To whomever. If you are seriously trying to date, someone worthy of committing part of your day to chat with enough to TRY and get to a point where you can actually meet.  Please don’t ask this question, ever.  If there are women out there asking men why they don’t have a woman.  STOP. Stop it right now.  If you saw someone out, whom you think you may want to approach, is your first instinct to ask why they don’t have a partner on the third exchange of words?

Example: “Hello”

 “Hey”

“So, why don’t you have a man?”

Guessssss what...that is offensive.  It screams “What is wrong with one since no one else wants you!!” People, the reason why someone is single will reveal itself in time. You don’t have to press the issue. They will either share that on their own, or you will learn it quickly as in the exchanges to be discussed following this one.  Girls, there are PLENTY of others willing to chat, don’t participate in nonsense, unless of course that’s yo thang then, by all means.
