Review:
I had heard many good things about House of Hunger on Booktube, so naturally when I found out it would be a host choice for Realmathon, I had to read it. It's dark and gothic setting made every action every character questioning the intent. I did feel it dragged slightly in the middle, with everything happening in the last fifty pages, but honestly it worked. You needed to feel for Marion and Lisavet, and understand the complicated relationship between the Nobility and bloodmaids. The ending is absolutely stunning, bittersweet, hopeful and open ended all at once. Definitely a book I would not mind having in my collection.
