“As much as I appreciate that I don’t think company is going to make me feel any less lost.” And she did feel lost. Left with a house full of remnants. An unfinished book, unwashed clothes, shoes by the door. It wasn’t even her home. Her own home was vastly colder and harder to be in. Either way she found herself in pain so she had ended up somewhere in between, sat in the rain trying to figure out what she should do with herself.
After the whole haunted house thing, Lizzie realized it was time to tell Noah everything. She had to. He had to like-like all of her. So the witch texted him, asking for him to come over.
At the knock she opened the front door and gave her boyfriend a small smile. She was really nervous about this. What if....what if Noah rejected her? Hated her? Lizzie leaned forward to press a kiss against his lips, just in case this was the last time. “Hey,” she said softly.
Pulling him inside, she shifted from one foot to the other. “I um...I wanna show you something. Is that okay? It’s a surprise though.” She pointed to the headphones and sleeping mask she had sitting on the dining table. Lizzie bit her lip, hoping Noah wouldn’t ask too many questions. It was better this way.

Amelia pulled herself up onto shaky legs. “I’m fine. I’m not... I’m not hurt. I don’t think I am anyway. I don’t really know. Everything is different. I’m different. What did you turn into?” She asked, her voice trembling a little. She needed to know what kind of danger she was in. Downstairs the whole level was a mess, people running around frantically trying to get out. “I’ll know even if you don’t say it out loud. Just... Downstairs is chaos I just need to know where is safe and where isn’t.”
Lizzie practically dragged her boyfriend through the festival in her excitement. “C’mon, c’mon, you’re so sloooow,” she giggled. “The haunted house won’t be that scary, promise! It’ll be fuuuuun.” The witch looked over her shoulder to give Noah a brilliant grin. “We can cuddle tonight and watch a movie you like, if that helps.”
