Apart from his need for part-time work to pay for the bills, what made Kana apply at Moonlight Cafe was cause he was sure to meet interesting people while working there. Two birds with one stone! It’s been seven years since he left, and most of the people he already knew from before already had different things going on for them, and it felt like a good idea for Kana to start expanding his network, maybe get re-acquainted with some people.
Moonlight Cafe was the perfect chance for that. Good food. Good music. And good entertainment.
Right now, he wasn’t serving anyone and was headed for the entertainment area. The horseshoes were a favorite of his (of course!) but billiards came at a close second. Plus, there were more people there.
Surely enough, when he approached the pool table, someone was already there. A regular and someone who tolerated his little antics here and there.
“Hey, Becca. Up for a round?” Grabbing a billiard’s stick, Kana stood across Rebecca, waiting for an answer.
