HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY REBEL REVIVE!

HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY TO REBEL REVIVE! 3 years ago on this date (March 31st, 2012), Rebel Revive was born. We played our very first show in Whittier that night, where we gave away burned CDs that featured a couple songs (which at the time were unreleased) to a crowd of about 25 people. Since that date, Rebel Revive's music has been heard in hundreds of countries around the world, sold out venues like House of Blues Anaheim​, The Glasshouse Pomona​, and others with incredibly talent friends such as Echosmith​, Night Riots​, Assuming We Survive​, The Material, On Being Human​, Five Iron Frenzy​ and many more. As well as getting to rock the stage with awesome friends, we've been featured Southern California's biggest radio station The World Famous KROQ​, toured the country along side Vans Warped Tour​, and in 2014 was rated one of the "Top 5 Best Live Bands in Orange County".

Looking back at these things is encouraging, but they pale in comparison to simply getting to share my music with friends, loved ones, and fans.

To be honest with you all, I almost quit playing music entirely last year. There was a span of a few months where I wouldn't touch a guitar, drum set, or microphone. I wouldn't even pick up a pen to write a single lyric. I was done...until I sat down and talked with a few close friends and fans about why I play started playing music in the first place, and how much the people that listen to this band mean to me. That helped me get back up and kept pressing forward. It stirred up the passion in my heart...the same passion that made me start this project 3 years ago.

When someone approaches me at a show, and tells me what a Rebel Revive song means to them personally, that's when my heart comes alive. That's why I keep pushing to write songs that I can be proud of, and be excited to share with you all.

In 2015, new Rebel Revive music will be released, more shows will be played, more merch will be printed, more music videos will be filmed, but all of those things are only possible because of YOU. These songs are for the people blasting our music to drown out their parents fighting. These songs are for the people who work 9-5pm jobs that drive them insane, and use music as their escape. These songs are for the people on a late night drive on their way to be with friends. These songs are for the people that feel so alone, they just want to scream at the top of their lungs. These songs are for each and every one of you, and for you to make the soundtrack to your life. Music has always been one of the biggest parts of my life, and my hope is that you make our music part of yours!
