Rebels Recon #2.03 Relics Of The Old Republic

Now that was a fantastic episode of Star Wars: Rebels! Once again Andi Gutierrez is there with the break down on Rebels Recon and she doesn’t disappoint. Check out tonight’s recap video and head on over to the StarWars.com official site for concept art and more.

This week’s epic Rebels Recon is divided into five story arcs. The collaborators of Star Wars Rebels come together at a Lucasfilm screening of the show’s latest episodes, “Lost Commanders” and “Relics of the Old Republic,” and talk about AT-ATs. Andi Gutierrez speaks with the cast and crew about on-screen chemistry and more about AT-ATs. Chopper squirms and backtracks after getting a busy-looking assignment. Pablo Hidalgo answers an observant fan’s question concerning Kanan and clone chips. We get a preview of next week’s episode, “Always Two There Are,” which might be the scariest one yet.

Star Wars: Rebels Inquisitors Names Revealed?

RebelsReport.com brightened up everyone’s mood this morning on Twitter, with a great find on the identity of our two new Imperial Inquisitors in Star Wars: Rebels. The names of our two new Inquisitors can be found on the DisneyXD official site right alongside our heroes in the character carousel. The two names listed I’m sure are not their real names, but instead a designation by the Empire. The names do raise an eyebrow as they seem to be something you would see in a cult or order of some sort. Just thought we would share. Great find by Rebels Report!

The very curious thing is that the Ghost is Hera’s ship. It was mentioned at conventions promoting Star Wars Rebels that the name the Ghost had specific significance to the crew. I have discussed this before but the company of troops that the clones who helped rescue Numa and liberate Ryloth were from was Ghost Company. The connection is just to obvious to be ignored.

Omigosh! Someone has the same thoughts as me! Mace --> Depa --> Kanan --> Ezra. Vaapad was mentioned! And very nice that the writer highlighted/contrasted against another lineage that began with Yoda and ended with the Skywalkers. Let me add another lineage, not as long but similarly meaningful: Cham --> Hera. Indeed I was right when I posted that SWR is "Blazing New Canon Path" quite some time ago.
