Experimenting With Plants
Idk if this is controversial or not, and I have no idea if it will work for you. I'm just saying what I did when I wanted my African violet to bloom again.
They say to keep the soil evenly moist, but I've also read that stress can encourage blooming. So I took a shot in the dark and started letting it dry out. I never water until it's bone dry.
I like the results so far; I hope they last.
I'm really not sure which bearded iris this is, but if i had to guess, I think it is Hell's Fire.
From the photos I can find online, Hell's Fire is a bit more brick and a little less magenta, but everything else matches.
Rebloom

First rebloom of my African violet has finally kicked off. 👍

Update on this rebloom. I'm gonna try to start adding dates to the pictures so I can look back and see the progress more accurately.
Day 19: My Pride And Joy
Still enjoying this rebloom on my Flaming Katy. Kinda proud of myself for helping it happen, although she did most of the work.
