There's a young, inexperienced hero who learns to tap into their true power and fight back against oppression - obnoxious but lovable (well, some people find them lovable…) There's an eccentric, spiritual old warrior who bravely sacrifices himself to save the day! And there's a badass heroine ready to leap into the action, with some surprising family history to uncover! The story takes place across multiple diverse locales, from deserts to forests to ultra-high-tech evil strongholds! At the end of the day, this story is about resisting oppression from those who think their form of "progress" is better than empowering local traditions, of hope and determination triumphing over the arrogance of imperialism. There couldn't be any real-world political relevance here, could there… Well, you'll just have to experience it for yourself and see!
