Close parent-child relationships and a mother who plays an active role in her child’s story! Epic battles full of tragic scenes that will make you cry! Women in positions of power! Beautiful, intricately crafted language and excellent worldbuilding! What more could you want?

A little guy scared of his own powers and responsibilities! The only male character in this series who ISN'T lame as hell is the GAY DILF! GENDER ROLES? DESTROYED 💥💥💥💥 also there's fantasy racism and it's handled fine.
