I try to live a very frugal life, so I get asked a lot how I save up for things.
My top ways I’m saving money: (A lot of these are amazing if you’re a stylist or costumer who shops for a living)
1. Ebates - free app/site - cash back on all online shopping! Install the toolbar button too and it will light up when you visit a site with cashback. Click it to activate your account and when you checkout the final total gets relayed to your Ebates. Free to sign up. Do it online or with the app. Cash out to your Paypal! Which is also great if you’re on a project to get the cash back on work purchases.

2. Ibotta - free app - cash back on select groceries, toiletries and in-store alcohol purchases. Scan the bar code, snap a pic of the receipt, get cash back. **Disclaimer: you can only cash out at $20 min to your Paypal/Venmo, $25 min for Giftcards. Use my referral code, “nwiclxb”, and you can earn an extra $10. https://ibotta.com/r/nwiclxb
Also try Checkout51, SavingStar, MobiSave
3. ShopKick - free app - earn points for entering stores, scanning barcodes, in-store purchases. Exchange points for giftcards. Works pretty fast.
**Disclaimer: you have to let this one run in the background on your phone, so can be harsh on your battery.

4. Paribus - free app/site - tracks all your online purchases for possible price matches, coupons, price adjustments after you’ve already paid to get you cash back.
**Disclaimer: you have to give them access to your email, Amazon and credit cards, which can be very daunting. Also they do take 25% of the amount they earn you. But if you invite friends, you can eventually lessen the amount to 0%. Like this! Use my link and we both drop fees by 5%!

5. Receipt Hog - free app - get cash back for submitting receipts for market research. Earn “coins” for each receipt, then exchange for giftcards or cash out to your Paypal.
**Disclaimer: cashout/gift cards have a $5 minimum.
I like to link as many of these to my PayPal as possible so I can get a real amount of how much I’m saving/making back. Altogether you can earn around a couple hundred back every year depending on your spending habits. Usually enough to cover some small expenses or at least holiday gifts at the end of the year.
