Aspects!

We’re going to cover the major influences. Trine/Sextile, Conjunct, Square, Opposition.

First, what do these mean for you? Having a Trine or Sextile between two planets usually is associated with positive influences, or powerful influences. These can have negative traits as well, but they mostly out line the silver lining. Having a Conjunction between two planets is neutral. Here it depends on what these planets are, and even what sign it’s in. Having a Square between two planets is negative. These usually outline challenges in your life that you are to overcome. You will not always identify with your Squares, but at some point in your life you have / will. Notice them, overcome them. Learn. Having an Opposition between two planets is a negative AND positive aspect. However, this is associated much more with the negative. Due to the fact it has both positive and negative traits, you may not want to get rid of it. A trait that would come from opposition would be one like Arrogance. You can spot it in yourself, however, you may not strive to overcome it or feel the need to due to the self-confidence it gives you.

Okay, so you know what they ARE. How do you find them?

Sextiles come at 60. Trines come at 120degrees. Conjunctions come at 0. Squares come at 90 Oppositions come at 180.

Now, you’re probably wondering how tf anyone has so many of these exact measurements in their chart. They don’t. These are in affect even if they’re not on the dot. Usually, they’re still noted as these aspects up to 5-8 degrees apart, depending on the astrologist.

You'll notice people characterize certain signs as having certain aspects with one another, but these aren't always true. They are for the most part, but if you're within that 5-8 degrees of another sign... you would actually have aspects with people both the sign you're in, and in the next. But not every single one of them.

Confusing? Yeah, it got me my first time, too. Let me give you an example.

You're a Pisces (3 degrees). As a Mutable Sign, you'd usually be square Gemini and Sagittarius. Opposition Virgo. Conjunct Pisces. Trine Cancer and Scorpio. Sextile Taurus and Capricorn. Lots of aspects, huh? Well, those are only true if they're between 0 and 11 degrees in those sign! As a Pisces (3 degrees), you also may have aspects as though you were an Aquarian! Square Taurus and Scorpio, Opposition Leo, Trine Gemini and Libra, Sextile Aries and Sagittarius, Conjunct Aquarius. These are only true, however, if they're 25-29 degrees in those signs!

Lots to handle, huh? So, for the most part, astrologists will lump-sum it and will say if you're of those signs it'll be within those aspects, because even if you don't have those specific aspects, there are lesser aspects (ones which expand farther) that actually cause the same affliction as their aspect, only with less influence.

Hopefully this answers your questions more than causes new ones! Aspects can be rather confusing, even if you don't go into detail on each influence and every single aspect there is.

So I get a lot of questions regarding my sexuality (bi ) and questions about it in general. So I figured I'd just do one post answering questions. If you have more feel free to hit up my inbox or other social media.

1) what is my sexuality?

A~ Bisexual

2) when did I find out I was bisexual?

A~ I figured it out late. I always had an attraction to girls but I didn't know what it was. As I stated in a previous post, I grew up pretty ignorant of the lgbt community. I grew up in a religious household and lived a sheltered childhood. It wasn't until my junior year in high school that I started becoming my own person. Forming my own opinions and becoming an individual. During this time i realized my attraction to girls was sexual and that I felt for them the same way I felt for guys. After dealing with this for a few years and being with girls and guys I realized I identified as bi. This was around age 17-now.

3)How will my parents react when I tell them?

A~ well not good but not horrible...I think. I've always known how my family felt about gays. That wasn't a secret so their reaction won't be a surprise. But its not about them. Its my life. No one can live it for me. If they react badly then they just aren't the parents I raised them to be.

4) Do I have any lgbt friends?

A~ not really. Most of my friends are straight. They know about my sexuality. But if you want to be friends or just to talk, message me.

5) As a bisexual do I believe in monogamy?

A~ absolutely. I'm territorial and I don't like to share food or my darlings attention. Listen guys, monogamy is a value. It is not dependent on someone's sexuality.
