[ For the drabble thing, either Parv and Lying for 18 (Parv losing his mind to bloodmagic / Lying going insane alone in the well) or Lying for 4 or 11? 83 ]
Checking in with the witch eyed ravens was a daily task for Lying. They had to keep an eye on everyone somehow. Though as they sat at their altar they found their gaze drawn to the crystal ball resting on the velvet covering the marble altar. It had been a while since they had used it.
Chanting under their breath, Lying delicately pressed their fingers against its cool surface, feeling the hum of magical energy within it as their mind began to roam the magical plane of Minecraftia. Though in the midst of it all a sudden shock of red pooled in their mind, followed by impenetrable darkness. In an unstable projection they saw Parvis doubled over his altar, blood over flowing rapidly. In their ethereal form they stood behind him, taking a step closer to see why this was causing such a disturbance in the plane.
Out of no where the projection of Parvis turned around, eyes black as the darkness enclosing around them. Parvis no longer existed within his body, only the corrupt demons from the Nine Hells stared back. Before Lying could react, his hand shot out, grabbing their ethereal form by the neck, choking them. The sound of destroyed poppets rang in their ears as they struggled. In a split second they were back in their body, heaving labored breaths as they stood over the crystal ball. Blood ran steadily from their eyes, ears, and nose, crimson dripping loudly against the floor.
They’d be damned if they allowed the demons to leak into their world with out their command. Lying growled and threw the crystal ball, shattering it against the adjacent wall. They should have killed the reckless blood mage when they had the chance.
