Yesterday
why do people even get driving licenses if they’re just gonna treat the road like a racetrack??
yesterday afternoon my dad and my brother were driving home after dropping off my brother’s girlfriend. they were on the M25 motorway around junction 24 where there were roadworks, so traffic was limited to 4mph then out of nowhere, some car at 12mph forces my dad’s Toyota into a two-way lane and slams him into a lorry my dad was driving. my brother was in the passenger seat.
the car now??
completely messed up:
• major denting
• deep sharp crease above the rear passenger door handle
• paint chipped
• door handle area misaligned
• quarter panel buckled near the rear bumper seam
• body lines between bumper + panel don’t even line up anymore
• scratches all along the rear bumper near the taillight
• wheel arch molding scuffed and gouged
• alloy wheel scraped up with white marks
• tire sidewall scuffed
like… it’s BAD.
the only good thing??
my dad and my brother are okay. no injuries.
but now the car’s in the body shop for major repairs and then it still has to go to the garage to check the engine and battery. no news report about it or anything, just another random incident that doesn’t make headlines. but honestly?? drivers are getting more reckless and dangerous. people act like they’re invincible until something like this happens.
slow down. pay attention. it’s not a game. 🚫🚗
