Started my 10th home garden project this summer. I’m hoping that this home garden will be a permanent one. I have decided to get the family involved thinking that the familial support will assure this project longevity and make the garden more productive. Also hoping that this garden will as the quote suggests motivate me to believe in tomorrow.
I came across this quote above recently when seeking some personal encouragement and motivation to start more personal projects. After some reflection I realized that I am very good at doing assignments whether for work, school or secular activities and so I decided to ‘reclaim my time’ and begin investing in self rather than others. The truth is no one will pay you your worth when you are their employee. But as a consultant, contractor and independent professional you determine your value.
Major gain from this COVID 19 pandemic is the acknowledgment that life will never be the same and so there is no such thing as job security. The steps we take from here onwards most be sound, lucrative and dynamic. Thus meeting the demands of the current system. There are no guarantees. Self improvement, selfemployment passive incomes and investments are a necessity.
