Hey dogblr,

I'm looking for recommendations for dog food for a friend of mine. I know some of you are really well versed in food research so I am hoping y'all can help out.

Dog has a suspected chicken allergy and suffers from brittle nails. He, the dog, is currently eating Only Natural Pet Power Food - Red Meat but I'm leery given that it's grain free. Dog is kind of a picky eater so something that might be similar is preferred.

I appreciate any help or advice offered!

Edited to add: I appreciate all the replies thus far, thank you! Their vet has been ridiculously unhelpful in addressing the brittle nails and they are looking for a new vet.
