                “ last time you visited, you mentioned not getting a chance to see the sakura blooming, right ? so i made this for you. ” a clear cup of pink-tinted liquid was then slid over the counter. there were a few cherry blossom flowers floating atop of it. “ it’s cherry blossom tea. well, it’s not like the real blooming sakura, but it’s still pretty, no ? ”

   CURIOSITY KILLED THE CAT. antoine isn’t used to having any limit to their powers, accustomed to being able to wield them without consequence. they were aware that their flight from the feywild injured their wings, leaving them in pain, aching whenever they’d summon them into existence in the past, but this? 

   trying to summon them, use them, and pass out from the exhaustion of it all? it’s ridiculously pathetic, a feeling that tightens and festers in their chest, putting a deep frown on their lips the second they wake up.

   and wake up they do, if not because of the gentle poke to their cheek. they’re not sure where they are— on the ground? oh, by the gods— but before they can lament over it even more, they notice the presence of another, unconcerned as they are. unimpressed, maybe, by the sight of antoine’s form collapsed. immediately, they think about manipulating this person’s memory so nobody will remember how utterly pitiful they look right now.

   ‘ i’m awake. ‘ it’s a rather blank statement as they stare at the sky above, not even trying to get up. their back hurts. they know they couldn’t get back up if they wanted to.

Curious bright teal irises look around at his surroundings before his sight fell on the one asking a question, head slightly tilts as past memories they had seem to have disappeared.

Where was he? Who was He? Who is this? What was this? Where is this?

His mind know questions before words escape his lips, looking at the woman before he spoke.

chamomile :   what is your muse likely to take away from a painful experience ? are they one to be haunted by adversity ,   or to use what they’ve gone through to become stronger ?

hiroto is one to do both.  he looks at painful experiences at his past and is haunted by them, but he tries to channel that feeling into anger.  hiroto feels like the angrier he is, the stronger he is.  he will take painful experiences and learn from them, making adjustments in his life to try and avoid a negative outcome.  however, he will also sit and think about the painful experience over and over again. 

fern :   does your muse believe in magic or cosmic forces ,   or are they more likely to think their life is ultimately a matter of their own control ?

hiroto doesn’t believe in cosmic forces.  he doesn’t view his life as something of his own control, but he doesn’t view it to be in the hand of a supernatural being.  he knows his life is not in the control of his own hands, but not his parents.  however, he does not view his parents as god like or cosmic in any way.
