Summary | All Souls Night was a night of magic, when the veils between worlds were their thinnest. It was a time of magic and fertility and all things unusual. Princess Emma meets a strange woman around the fires and finds herself ensnared in a lustful trap she's not sure she wants to escape with a beauty whose face she has never seen.

For Reasons | i do have a few recs overdue, but having caught up on this recently, i figured to start with this.

what i love in this fic, without giving too much away, is even with the pairing established early on, you will definitely find yourself looking forward to the next chapters. often than not, i believe it's exactly what kills an SQ fic, how they go from zero rapport to madly passionately in love scale in millisecond. 

It is no secret for people who follow this blog, at least i think, that i favor fics set in FTL more. More than ever, I do think it is challenging to word and describe the intricacies of the Fairy Tale Land, the Enchanted Forest, etc  and the liberties one can take in that verse. At the same time balancing it and keeping the core of their personalities in an AU verse.

so, i've caught up now to chapter 9 and i cannot wait to read what happens when Emma gets wind of what just transpired :)

Summary | After the curse is broken, Emma has a difficult time adjusting to life in the Enchanted Forest and seeks out a disgraced Regina to help her navigate fairy-tale land. Whimsy and romance ensues.

i like cuz | I really haven't had the chance to read on anything since Tuesday. This is one of the few I have read and I happen to like fics that are post curse. Entertaining so far and i like the author breaking away and pointing out 'now you have you're happy ending, now what'. A work in progress but is definitely off to a good start.

i like cuz | I cannot believe I scrolled past this series quite a few times. I love the 'verse the author has created. You all know how much of a fan I am of fics that stay true to character regardless of circumstance.

What I can tell you about this fic is this, when I started, I couldn't stop. I'm now about to begin Part IV. If you haven't read it, then stop reading my rec and go read now.
