Tzimas Cosmetics is a leading manufacturer and retailer of cosmetics in Northern Greece. Red Creative in collaboration with marketing agency Ambigram designs the company's visual identity, including print ads, environmental graphics and packaging using a different approach for each project.

Symposium in Ancient Athens by Red Creative

The book Symposium in Ancient Athens was written by Michalis Tiverios, Professor Emerita of Classic Archaeology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and published by Ktima Gerovassiliou. This book is the first of a series to be published by Ktima Gerovassiliou - we designed the visual identity of the series.

Dimitria 55 by red creative

Dimitria is an annual cultural festival organised by the Municipality of Thessaloniki. This year the festival went online and its main theme is Distances.

We visualised the theme with a flexible moving surface that represents a virtual stage. The word distances is the protagonist, it moves, changes positions, the type gets distorted, creating new relationships between them and the viewer. We chose a bright, happy, yellow colour, in order to send an optimistic message for the future.

Ο άνθρωπος πίσω από τα εξώφυλλα (κι όχι μόνο): Σίμος Σαλτιέλ για το SKG Fest στο deBόp

[deBόp] Ο Σίμος Σαλτιέλ είναι Creative Director / Photographer και ένας από αυτούς τους ανθρώπους που έζησαν τα πράγματα από και από μέσα όπως λέμε. Φωτογράφισε τη ροκ σκηνή της Θεσσαλονίκης τη δεκαετία του 90 και σκηνοθέτησε μουσικά βίντεο. 

Σήμερα στην εταιρεία Red Creative είναι art director και φωτογράφος. Με αφορμή το SKG Fest στο Gagarin 205 το διήμερο 9 &10 Φεβρουαρίου, μας λέει τις δικές του ιστορίες για τη σκηνή της Θεσσαλονίκης τη δεκαετία του '90!

Οι αφίσες του 58ου Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου Θεσσαλονίκης, από την Red Creative

(Πηγή: Red Creative) Το γραφείο μας ανέλαβε το σχεδιασμό των αφισών για το φετινό, 58ο Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογράφου Θεσσαλονίκης.

Η ιδέα της σειράς των τεσσάρων αφισών στηρίζεται σε ένα από τα βασικά στοιχεία του σινεμά και της εικόνας: την έννοια του κάδρου.

Το κινηματογραφικό κάδρο είναι το πεδίο δράσης του ενορχηστρωτή των πλάνων, του σκηνοθέτη, ο οποίος χρησιμοποιεί το κάδρο για να πλάσει τις εικόνες, τα πλάνα της ταινίας που οραματίστηκε. Το κάδρο είναι μέρος της πραγματικότητας και βάση-φόντο του σινεμά μυθοπλασίας. Μέσα του τεκταίνονται και τεκμαίρονται «πράματα και θάματα».

Οι φωτογραφίες είναι παρμένες από την ευρύτερη περιοχή της Θεσσαλονίκης (Θερμαϊκός, δυτικές συνοικίες, ταράτσες στο κέντρο, προβλήτα στην Αρετσού). Έχουν, δε, το φως και την ατμόσφαιρα του φεστιβαλικού Νοεμβρίου.

The idea of ​​the series of four posters is based on one of the basic elements of cinema and image: the idea of the frame.

The film frame is the field of the frame ‘maestro’, the director, who uses it to form the pictures, the shots of the film he envisioned. The frame is part of the reality and also the base of fiction filmmaking. Within its borders, big and small miracles are produced and deduced.

The photos are taken at the wider area of Thessaloniki (Thermaikos Gulf, western districts, terraces in the city center, pier in Aretsou). They also have the light and the atmosphere of the November festival.
