Both of these DHMIS pieces took 3 days to make(and yes, they were made at the same time). (And they were also supposed to be posted yesterday, but the ideas were cooking too slowly...) I hope you like them!

this is a lil bit of an old drawing meet my hc version offf...

these fellas! since they were only shown once for a few seconds and were never given personality, i kinda gave em some like.. at least a year ago and i still remember it so imma ramble abt it :> blue: the opposite of red guy. she's energetic and loud, and quite a bit childish. red guy's 2nd-cousin-twice-removed, definitely the different one in her family. they dont really like that about her but she doesnt care, she just stays away from them. if she had a name, itd be henrietta :> green guy: yellow guy's older brother. he grew up with their mom instead of roy, so yellow guy has basically forgotten about green guy's existence. green guy is kind of like a less-smart smart yellow, and moreso the red guy of the group personality wise. smarter than the other 2 for sure, he helps keep them out of trouble. not very energetic, but he knows how to speak up when it's needed. i used to call him "monni", as a mix of doi and manny and an inverse to what i called yellow guy, aka "danny" red duck: a cardinal. isn't related to duck in any way. he's an adventerous one, the type of person to do seemingly dangerous things and then go "oh crap" when something actually goes wrong. he's scared of quite a few things, he just doesnt wanna admit it in front of the other 2. even if at times he'd like to run away, he'd stay to make sure the others are okay instead. his name wouldve been "jay", to reference the blue jay, like how duck's fanon name references robins i have something else relating to dhmis that i drew a while back. if i can find it, ill show it :>

been a hot second since I have drawn a full art piece or a non-human character that's cartoony, so sorry if he looks a bit odd

anyway, this art thingy is for an au I have, and under the read more there are some little facts about him, hope ya enjoy them

warning: I may have gone a bit overboard with the little facts and also some things might be incomprehensible because English is not my first language, so, sorry about that

This is Duck Guy! like from the YT series (not the TV series there's a big difference), his real name is Canard Drake Robbins

he is a 60-year-old (?) Broadway star, while he is, of course, most well known for acting in many plays/musicals, he would like to act in a tv show but sadly he is very picky and no show that has wanted to contract him has caught his attention in any way

he used to be a friend of both Roy and Leslie, probably meet them when they all ended up sharing an apartment because Leslie was a broke art school student, Canard was new in the city and Roy had just gotten out of jail and disowned by his family (don't ask me why he was in jail, I do not know)

he met Red Guy years after both David (Leslie's son) and Manny (Yellow Guy) were born, they both frequented a quaint little cafe and slowly they started talking and became friends (for the record, Canard is just Red's dad's friend/mentor, TV Duck n Red on the other hand? well, they are separate characters)

currently (as in, post-DHMIS YT series) he is letting Red and Manny live in his house as they are dealing with the fallout of being like, thought dead/a missing persons case for years and everything they went through while in Punish Land

he is the legal guardian of Manny (mainly because there's no one else that would take in the child), he is planning to home-school the kid but currently, he is just taking Manny to ice cream parlors and trying to convince Red that all 3 of them should go to therapy

and finally, he is not a duck, he is a parrot, and he might have died in Punish Land and the current Canard might just be a duplicate with all of his memories, not that he himself is sure of that tho

I've been spending my time reading webtoons and this is one of my favorites. Literally, this is the only thing that's making my life entertaining these past few months. It's wonderful how I've been blessed enough to have lived in a generation where webcomics exist.

—I cannot express enough how glad I am to have the chance of coming across such a beautiful gift. There were nights I've spent many hours bawling my eyes out, procrastinating my school projects yet still feel completely at peace because I was spending my time reading this webtoon.

It really is a gift to be young.
