Some pen doodles from today, same idea as the text post from yesterday :]

Not long after lamb allows shamura free motion around the cult grounds, they begin to rest near the tailoring tent. One day the make lamb a new fleece, closer to the style of the old faith.

Lamb is still distrusting to outright hostile to anything relating to old faith; however, willing or otherwise lamb secretly doesn’t mind Shamura as much as they pretend.

By this point my lamb is still young into his reign, but he is finally accepting his position, and realizing that he has a lot to learn about leading a larger flock. Generally he makes it clear to the cult that the ex bishops are not to be trusted, and that any who get to close to them within the cult will be severely punished. In reality, lamb is growing a softness for Shamura, and is grateful for their occasional words of wisdom on running the cult.

During this phase of the cult, lamb still hasn’t gained the bishops relics back, so by extent Shamura isn’t yet in their right mind. Frankly, if they were, lamb wouldn’t’ve allowed them around the cult at all, less even trusted them enough to hear Shamuras rare moments of clear advice.

Dispute lambs words against Shamura to the cult, they still wear the fleece for meny years.

Barristan is talking about the Red Lamb, Tumco, and Larraq, the three boys and freedmen he trained since the begining of adwd. It just so sweet he manage to get such a relationship with them. Would have like to see it through.

From the spoiler chapter of twow, Red Lamb is pretty interesing. He is a Lhazareen, but after been free of his chained, his refused to keep upholding the pacifism of his culture, and choose a warrior life.

" Should I die, I will go before the Great Shepherd of Lhazar, break his crook across my knee, and say to him : "Why did you choose to make your people lambs, when the world is full of wolves! " Then I will spit into his eyes. "

There is a lot to say about this:

The great shepherd and his lamb are a clear remniscence of Jesus.

His trauma didn't make him a non believer but he now despised his god. He is in a sort of existential crisis.

His personality in the chapter show that he reconize the slavers, wich he call wolves here, are the true villain and is thirsty for their blood. But he do believe the pacifism of his people is what permit them to easly enslaved them for thousand of years. And he doesn't understand why would a god, who is supposed to protected his people, would let his them suffer so much.

He seem pretty into giving hell to the masters. Here we are given a pov of someone raised under pacific notion, but would never want to negociate and compromise with slavers. For the people who think dany rightious anger toward slaver's bay is supposed to show how dark she is.

I would love to see his underworld journey, and if he will ever find answers and peace. Very reminiscent of greek heroes like Heracles or Orpheus.

Here wolves are seen as monster that eat lamb, but the dragon are protector.

ZAIN___SON OF SATAN__GOAT

Zain was born in the desert and sand, past The Tigris and Euphrates. Where Eden would have fallen. A dark complexion not found in either of his parents, he seemed to be born from the earth itself, like he would fit in ancient Mesopotamian legends. Now he lives in a small town in America, with his mother’s sister and her son, reading thick gothic literature and pretending his hellish dreams do not exist. The eyes can’t witness what denies to be seen. 

Zain is the greatest horror unknown.

Benny is soft and only wears sweaters and looks kinda like a lost lamb. he’s trans n gay.

BENJAMIN____SON OF SIN____PSYCHIC

Benny lived in France until he was 6 years old. With one of his three siblings, he now lives in a rotting mansion in the woods, with his mother’s former college professor. With weak lungs, his life has been extremely restrained- until he moved to this mansion. In a new town, he has persistent hope of a better tomorrow. 

Benny is the lamb and his shepherd is blind.

Right right, the reason (other than narrative) that I felt the need to make a distinction between red lamb and old lamb, is because red lamb (I promise I’ll think of a better name tag eventually) is a child to adolescent for like the first half of their relevancy, and old lamb is an actual adult

I like to make thirsty little doodles, but I need it to be clear that whenever lamb is being shipped they are exclusively an adult

Other than context and tag, my first lamb only has two horns, and r lamb has four

Yapping under the cut

I might give r lamb some romance (maybe a fling with kali or Leshy) later on in their life, by the time I’d consider them a fully fledged adult (in both physically and mentally), but even then I feel red lamb doesn’t really work romance the same way as my old lamb doodles

The older ones are a lot more self insert (obviously), but r lamb is a lot farther into oc territory then insert; this time playing around (then thinking up this version of the lamb) It hadn’t been me playing through, putting myself into the lamb, it had been me trying to make a fun little narrative in my head for my cult and the characters in it, and their life’s past the narrative that the game can supply

As far relationships go though (so far), r lambs story in my head is a lot family based, (because of my deeper thoughts on the dynamics between the bishops, after replaying, and being in the fandom for a bit longer)

I kinda avoid the pit that a lot of found family seems to fall into, with the strictly labeled dynamics, but I would say that by far later phases of r lambs godhood they do genuinely view the other bishops as a type family, even if not as siblings

[I’d like to think a lot more on r lambs actual internal conflicts/confusions over the years, because they do view Hegretre as a child, a younger, first born to the cult, but he also watches ‘Re grow up, and become something of a demigod, from this egg into one of the pillars of the cultover the hundreds of years r lambs relationship with Hegretre has to shift a bit, in a very real sense, ‘Re is barely younger than lamb, I still haven’t quite decided how their relationship developes from this needing to protect, let have the freedom of childhood that lamb never got to have, to fully treating as an equal, and adult

Hegretre is actually the parent of a large portion of followers over the years (overwhelmed parent trait my save), and while r lamb loves Hegretre, they still have a hard time seeing them as grown.

Part of this, stems from the very different ways that the two age, I think lamb is in a way stunted, slowed by the crown, they age, but slowly. The followers don’t though, while I think if you give a follower a gold skull for long enough, they will change into something like a demigod (not sure if that’s the right term for it, but it works fine enough for now I think) (as that’s my thought process for the mini bosses, and the witnesses). The immortal followers age and think like any other follower, they aren’t really slowed in the same way as the crown bearers, their bodies have been stopped (not really, they have physical changes over a long period (again, think like witnesses, bleeding ichor)) but their minds haven’t.

They way they continue to age mentally I think has a lot more individuality to it, as it’s more about personality, then youth vs elder, but I’ve been typing out my yapping for long enough that my iPad swapped to nighttime mode, so I’ll stop here
