There's been a massive surge in Red Light Cameras in the region where I live, so I'm passing through dozens of them everyday. They were installed over the past few weeks, so they're suddenly everywhere. And it is startling how much this increases my paranoia and uneasiness while driving.

I don't run through red lights as-is. It's dangerous and illegal, and I've never once done it on purpose (I did do it once by accident about ten years ago). So I'm the perfect example of "nothing to worry about", but it's still worrying.

This is such a stark example of the omnipresent surveillance infecting our society.
