Re-living the amazing night i had a the red tour through this video!!!

i can't believe it was almost a week ago!! i want to go back to before the concert!!

So I know it's a bit delayed but I've been meaning to post this to say that I was so proud of all us Swifties at the Red concert in Melbourne because soooo many people got dressed up and had lights and just looked awesome AND thank you so much for being so kind; I went by myself but the majority of you that I met waiting in line for the pit were really nice and kind and complimented me and were just great! So well done and thank you Victorian Swifties!

My Club RED experience

On the 14th of December 2013, I woke up at 4:30am to catch my morning flight to Melbourne from Sydney and I only had about an hour of sleep because I stayed up making the hats for our costumes and honestly I could say I wasn't even tired I was excited and nervous I was so stressed about finishing the rest of my costume! So our costumes were split into two parts, there's the outside part which is the layers of the cake which was a piece of fabric that I could fold and fit into my carry on and we had to run around Melbourne CBD looking for some cardboard to hold up the shape of the cake! We initially planned to be at the stadium at 2:30 cos I wanted to get more merchandise before getting into our costumes and I also wanted to meet other Swifties! But because with my hotel room, I was unable to check in until 2pm and we had to quickly finish the costumes and one thing lead to another and we managed to finally get the cakes done by 4pm! And that time we were late and it was really hard to get a cab so as you can understand I was getting really stressed out and hoping that we could at least get to the stadium before gates opened! By the time I got to the Ethihad Stadium it was around 4:30! And we got our costumes on and took some photos there and the gates were opening! We got in and we started walking towards our seats! Because I had Pit in Sydney I had no idea what the seat numbers were like, it wasn't until I got there that I realised that it was in the aisle where Taylor walks through the crowd during 22! So I started freaking out and screaming! After we settled down and got our fairy lights on, I went around to the people that were already in their seats and gave them the posters for the birthday project and I was able to meet some really sweet people that were really nice to us! So fast forward to about right about Guy Sebastian finished performing, someone with headphones and a black shirt tapped me on the shoulder and asked if she could take a photo of us! I was so excited and happy! And that was the moment I started having hope that this may work out for us! Because there were these girls that were dressed up in really pretty and lit up cupcakes and they were right behind me and I was thinking that I wasn't doing to get club red because I thought their outfits were better than mine! Then during Holy Ground I saw Andrea and hugged her I was like you're so amazing and then she asked if I was having fun? And I was like yes I'm having the best time and she told me to keep having fun and then she went to the cupcake girls and I was like oh... I'm not gonna get club red anymore. But then I still had the best time, kept dancing and jumping and having fun and then when she came through at 22 she high fived me and I was freaking out and I was so happy!! Then when it got up to Love Story I was kinda thinking I'm not gonna get club red cos it was the third last song and I still haven't heard anything yet! And then out of nowhere Andrea came and I freaked out and I was like this is my chance to give her Taylor's present and then she asked me if I'd like to go to Club RED! And I couldn't even respond I just started sobbing and shaking and she hugged me and she told me it's okay I'll see you soon okay and she also hugged my sister and gave us our wristbands and I couldn't stop crying! And then I ran to my friend (who put in so much effort to help me with my outfit and I am so grateful for that) who was in another section because we didn't manage to get our tickets together. :( I was crying and I was telling her and she was so proud of me and I was so happy! And then that's when Sarah (@REDMelbourne) gave me a bag and told me to give it to Taylor! And that bag had all the letters from Swifties! Then when I went back to my seats I was in a daze and I was screaming, singing along to Treacherous and shaking! I was just too excited! Fast forward to entering Club RED, the entrance was so beautiful and it was seriously something I thought I would ever only get to see in photos! Then we walked in and it smelt so pretty in there, and I was so happy! It was so beautiful in there, the photos on the pole in the middle of the room, the diet coke photo booth and there was candy, pizza and diet coke! It was so epic! So my sister and I took photos around Club RED and we took some photo booth photos and it was so great! The pizza was so great too! And then we had to put our phones away cos we were told Taylor will be coming in soon! Then Kamilah, Melanie and Clare walked in and they started chatting to different groups and it was so wonderful they did that! Then not long after Taylor and Mama Swift walked in and my heart skipped a beat, she was wearing a plaid shirt with skinny jeans and her cute brown shoes! She looked stunning! Even though I was quiet and calm on the outside I was secretly freaking out that she was right there in front of me and we were in the same room together! And then she started going around the groups and we were the second last group. And I think we must have looked really nervous cos Kamilah came over to us to calm us down and told us that Taylor is so sweet and down to earth and we shouldn't be worried about anything! So in my head I was planning out what to say to her and I was like I have to remember to tell her that she looked so amazing during VS show! Then Mama Swift came up to us and I hugged her again and I kept thanking her for being so kind and choosing us for Club Red and she asked about how long it took for us to make our costume? And she was so nice and kind to us! Cos I was kinda shocked I completely forgot to ask to take a photo with her! :( Taylor finally got to us and she hugged us and complimented us on our outfits and said she really loves it and I told her that there were 24 candles altogether on our heads and she said awwww that's so sweet! And then I think we went quiet cos we were in complete shock and then she asked if we wanted something signed? And then I started thanking her for being so amazingly talented and she replied and by saying thank you for saying that! I told her that she helped me get through this last week cos I was going through a really bad time and she comforted me by saying something very personal and I want to keep that for myself and I am so grateful that she shared that with me. Then we gave her our tickets and she asked for my name and I said Sheridan and wrote it and asked if that's how it's spelt (it was so great she did that because people always get the spelling of my name wrong!) and then she doubled checked it with me and added I ❤️ as well! I was so happy about that! Then she went to sign my sister's ticket and asked for her name too, she said Taylor and Tay was so happy and said I know how to spell that! She was so cute when she said that and I was so happy! Then I remembered I had to give the bag from Sarah and she pulled out the black book and she said it was such a beautiful journal! And then I picked up the red scarf I had knitted her for her birthday and she took it out and she wore it and she was like I love it it's so warm and fuzzy and it's red! And then she said she wanted to take a photo with the scarf on and I'm happy and grateful she did that even though it didn't really go with her outfit, she wore it anyway! After the photo, she asked how long it took me to knit the scarf and she was like it must have taken a while huh? I was so happy that she really appreciated it! And then she hugged us again and thanked us and as she was hugging me I said I love you Taylor and she said ' awww I love you too!' And I was so happy she said that back to me! I loved how the entire time she was with us she gave us her full attention and she's so sweet and down to earth and talked to us like we were her friends! Then she moved on to the next group and I stood there admiring Taylor and I remembered that I totally forgot to compliment her for VS show! :( and during the whole time she was with the other group she wore the scarf and even when she went into the photo booth she was still wearing it! It was so wonderful to see that she was wearing the scarf I knitted her (!!!!!!!!!!!) then she said that she had a plane to catch and rushed off after saying goodbye to us! :') after that we had that beautiful birthday cake and we all took a photo together! And the whole experience was so amazingly enchanting and I am still so so so grateful that I got to meet my idol! Dreams do come true after all if you're willing to work hard and dream big! and because we had VIP tickets we got like 200$ worth of merchandise and really good sits and the atmosphere was so great and everyone was dressed from head to toe in red and had cat ears and stuff and it was so amazing!! Defiantly best night of 2013 🙀😻😹
