Dear naivette, let me hold your hand for this one: you are in a tyrannical government now, there is now "outliving" it. Thats what they want, your neutrality is a silent agreement to them and their ways and they will do worse.
You believe things will change if you just write to your senators or political parties? HA! they already thought that throu and will just ignkre the complains. Better yet, they will make it "unamerican" or just out right illegal to complain.
You need to do. Not expect someone else to stand up for you. Because at the end of the day they would be risking their livelyhood on a "insignificant" person who doesnt even have the guts to say what is wrong to their face.
