This morning was one of those put a mirror under her nose to see if she is still breathing mornings. I didn’t wake up until ten. The sun never showed yesterday; in fact, it poured most of the afternoon. Gracie and I watched from the front door. The air smelled sweet, of grass and flowers and summer rain.
