The White Spring and the Red.

One of the many mysteries of the Isle of Avalon is that two different healing springs, one red with iron, the other white with calcite, rise within a few feet of each other from the caverns beneath Glastonbury Tor. The inside of the White Spring is a dark temple with a pool of cold water in which one might bathe (naked if you wish), a space filled with the constant sound of running water, lit only with candles, perfumed with incense. The Red Spring is in the light and flows through the Garden of the Chalice Well.
