Do you have any Shoji headcanons? I think he’s really cool, and an underrated character.
AGH I FORGOT TO ANSWER THIS!!!! SHOJI HEADCANONS!!!
• Shoji's probably carried around the same pencil case since 4th grade. He lost the first two and his mom said "I'm not buying you another one if you lose it" and he took it seriously. That thing is absolutely decrepit.
• Shoji's quirk does come from his parents and/or grandparents, but it's the result of an oddball mutation in the quirk genes. (I've actually got a MHA OC named Akuma who is like. Shoji's mom's cousin. Or something. He's got four arms and an elongated face, but it's not quite the same. I'd yap about him but this is already way too long.)
• Shoji doesn't mind whether people call him by his first or last name, but he prefers his first. It means people trust him and want him around, that they like him.
• Considering he somehow just knows any sliced off dupli-limbs will grow back, it's safe to say he's had experience. Likely people in his village - hell, maybe even family - tried cutting the extra limbs off, and it didn't work for very long.
• Shoji isn't a picky eater. At all. He'll scarf down anything you put in front of him, truly. Hell, Shoji will finish YOUR food if you don't want it, so it doesn't go to waste.
• He doesn't care if you already bit it or your fork's been in your mouth. He'll eat it anyways.
• Always gets cherry or, oddly enough, banana flavored things. His all-time favorite are those two. Will absolutely destroy a banana split with cherries and black cherry ice cream(instead of strawberry).
• Shoji is a very traditional man, so it's not surprise that, in his future, he finds himself wearing traditional clothing and following Buddhist principles. But sandals are hard for him. His feet are too wide and abnormally large, so he has to go in-store and try everything on regardless of what kind of shoe it is. Ordering anything online is a nightmare. Sandals, though - nothing is ever quite right with them.
• Had a chain attached to his wallet. Not necessarily because he's afraid of thieves, but he thinks it looks nice. Adds something to his typically plain wardrobe. And it's functional.
• Speaking of functional; he uses 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner. And somehow his hair comes out marvelous, despite the mass amounts of gel it must take to style it the way he does. If he just washes the gel out and doesn't soap up his hair, it gets REALLY crunchy.
• Shoji can taste whenever a brand of food he normally gets changes their recipe. Even to the slightest degree - if they use a different dye or source from a different farm, he knows.
• Amongst his very few worldly possessions, Shoji allows himself a blender. Not at the dorms, of course; he's too considerate of his neighbors for that. But if his friends ever decide to come over, he's got smoothies for everyone. Probably puts protein powder in it so often that he doesn't bother putting away the container it comes in. It's just sitting next to the blender, waiting for the next batch of green sludge drink. Shoji loooves his green sludge drink.
• Shoji adores his friends. We all know this. He's heavily observant(and kind of sneaky), so there's no doubt in my mind that he's one of the best gift givers amongst class 1-A. Not because he gets everyone a ton of gifts, but because he buys what matters most.
• He and Jirou are an unlikely pair, but they get along great. Gifts around the holidays for her normally consist of care stuff for her instruments and replacements for broken stuff - lost guitar chips, snapped drumsticks, what have you. He's always listening for a complaint just so he can save the day. Make him feel like a real hero.
• Shoji, being unable to access his blender when he moved into the dorms, started getting drinks every morning at a local coffee shop or something. He ended up being one of the Girls™ that carries a drink around all day. As much as he loves a chocolate mocha frappe, he has to get a small or medium, or else he can't finish it. Too sweet in the morning. So he'll end up with a huge bright purple drink just on his desk all day, slowly draining when nobody is looking. He doesn't mind that the ice waters it down.
• If the ice isn't gone by the time he's done with his drink, he's eating it. He paid for that damn drink and boy howdy is he gonna drink it.
• Shoji is a big fan of kids. If not for heroism, he'd have been a daycare attendant or something. Maybe even a social worker, because he has a strong sense of justice and firm morality.
• Shoji is allergic to deodorant with aluminum in it. That's it, that's the headcanon. Burns his skin straight off.
• If he didn't prefer to own as few things as possible - the clutter probably frustrates him, ngl. Can't find ANYTHING when you need it. - he'd be a vintage collector. Signs and licence plates on the back garage wall, statuettes and figurines from his favorite old-timey shows in his living room on either side of the TV, classic books and every possible edition of his favorites in his bedroom. Shoji would arrange them all neatly and take VERY good care of it.
• Authority makes him nervous. What have cops and teachers ever done for him? He couldn't ever put his life in the hands of an officer back home. Shoji wants to be the authority people willingly fall into when there's trouble. His arms open for children especially, at all times. They're the biggest oppressed group, after all.
• Got really into ventriloquism at some point. But he couldn't ever really put his skills to use until after he took his mask off around his classmates. He'll sit there having a full conversation with someone without his mouth moving in the slightest, and they'll assume that he's so used to speaking through his dupli-arms that he's still doing it even after everything. But nope. He starts talking with his hands and only then do his classmates realize that he's got such a talent. They make him say crap without opening his mouth all the time.
• Shoji can't sleep in dead silence, but too much noise is a killer of his peace. His first week at UA was rough - he was used to crickets and stuff outside. Rain that slid off the roof and pooled in divots outside for him to play in. The sound of heavy traffic practically all night wasn't easy for him to get used to. Rain feels like it's falling directly on top of him as opposed to around him. Shoji loves UA and his friends, and so desperately wants to be a great hero. But God damn - the city life isn't for him.
• When he inevitably retires, Shoji won't be going back to his hometown. He's not welcome there, even after everything he's done for mutants like himself. Some people's opinions will just never change - so he settles for a suburban home on the outskirts of town with a bird or two.
• Not a big fan of dogs - loves them, but from afar. Cats scare him a little, but he's not a hater. Birds are his thing. An expert on all things bird. As an adult, the guest bedroom of his home is no longer the guest room, it's the bird room. Points out birds everywhere he goes, but there's not a lot of variety in the city. Bird watching and comparing them to bird encyclopedias was one of his biggest hobbies, growing up.
• Can't grow a plant to save his life. Everything straight up dies when you leave it with him. Can't trust Shoji to look after your house plant while you're on vacation because somehow it'll catch on fire. Waters a cactus on schedule with the amount listed and it fucking drowns or something. Get him a plant that subsists off the moisture in the air? No. It simply won't do that. Fuck you. Dehydration. Thumb is not green. It is the opposite of green, in fact. The thorn bushes smack him with their whippy stems when he passes for endangering them by existing. Shoji is not good with the flora.
And uhhh yeah that's all I got!!!
No, I'm not a Human is very great here is uhh things I did
Happy Halloween guys. It was a lil windy out

Different art style so it's kinda ass sorry MHA peoples. Click for better quality because Tumblr hates me
Someone tell me what to draw that's NINAH based and I'll draw it
I'd like to preface all my doodle requests by saying I'm not super good at drawing animals(anthro or otherwise. I'm not bad I'm just not super good at it) and also don't expect like. A large scale drawing in full color or anything. It's not like I'm doing commissions or anything. I'm just doodling for the fun of it. These are requests - I reserve the right to deny you a drawing. I know my art isn't the greatest but it's still free artwork.
I'll also take requests for my other fandoms and maybe other stuff if I feel like it. I mainly want to do NINAH stuff rn but I'll most certainly draw your NINAH ocs if that's what you want. So long as you aren't pushy, I'll probably get to it eventually.
I'm just throwing this out there now so nobody comes around whining if I don't do their request or something. I love drawing for people though. Feel free to send multiple asks if you want more than one thing.
Can you draw topaz as a no I'm not a human character
I'm not too good at drawing animals n critters so this probably sucks. Might reblog later with a better doodle since I don't feel like I did your character justice. I also didn't really know what you meant by "as a character," but I imagined cat lady would have an opinion on the matter. I wasn't sure if you wanted me to humanize them or not. That'd probably be more my forte. Feel free to send in another request if that's what you meant or if you want something else. Until then, here's your doodle!
It's kinda dark in here. My bad. Cat lady is all twisted up as per usual.
