Red-hot is capable of flirting but also in a very specific "This may endin a fight or a kiss" way...but that's fine because he likes to do both with Dear.

Someone asked about how the other Flavor Four members deal with rut and tbh they all go through the same symptoms with some minor changes in behavior..that being that they are a lot better at dealing with it than Bitterbat as they aren't alpha monsters.

Since their more monstrous features are out they also gain a bit of height.

So Red-hot is...quite a feat for Dear. Thankfully, Red-hot is relatively chill save for his body temperature being higher than normal. He is even more concerned about if Dear has been eating and if he's hungry and wants some food. And if food ain't an option, then he is very much open to fighting.

Monstrums don't only present via dancing or singing but also with feats of strength. So his attacks are more showy, with different colored flames. If Dear pays extra attention, he will notice the scorch marks left behind in the shape of hearts.

He also emits a strangely bold yet sweet smoky scent that leaves butterflies in Dear's stomach when he smells it. So ironically, Dear becomes the Beloved that doesn't stop cuddling up to his Flavor.

Halite is a singer. And so Honey has to deal with him serenading her a lot more often. It's honestly a bit difficult to tell when Halite is in rut save for his glittery wings being out and him being a bit more of a drama queen. Of course, he also has to be cautious of how he approaches her because Bee is present. So it mainly sticks to just sappy love songs. And during the times Bee is asleep...

...Welp, Honey is in second place right behind Sweetheart for loving on her man during rut time.

Sourpuss is very cuddly and is practically always attached to Baby. And unlike the other three, they also leave little presents. Specifically treats since they like to snack so there's candy or slices of cake or donuts. The list goes on but by the time the week is over, Baby's room looks like a bakery.

And since Sourpuss mirrors a lot of Bitterbat's behavior, they also are pretty bold. They will steal kisses and lick on Baby's skin while she is busy with another task.

And while that might seem to be on the thin line of consent, Baby is aware of the rut as she does her reading and is open to her Monstrum venting out affection to keep from getting pent up. Sourpuss never goes any further unless Baby expresses it herself.

Red-Hot || Deidara & Kushina

Absolutely incredible. 

If anyone had asked 9 year-old Deidara what he thought his career as a shinobi would look like after 10 years, the true story might have made sense coming from the mouth of a child. Just how in the world had he gone from freelance terrorism, to being forced into an organization which took on missions of all kinds to further their own goals of world-wide domination, to then dissolving that organization, only to restart it as a task force loosely overseen by the allied nations... well... it seemed as ridiculous as it sounded and Deidara, who’d always been a bit of a loose cannon, got into more trouble than he’d like to admit for his lack of care when it came to his explosions.

He was far better suited for the chaos of war.. Not these small-scale missions to suppress foreign enemies.

Feeling irritated, the teen kicked a rock that was in his path. He’d just left the office of the Hokage. He’d been reprimanded yet again for his carelessness on a mission assigned to him by the village hidden in the leaves. Deidara was clever and highly capable, but he was itching for violence. A simple ‘search and destroy’ mission was not his style, but the Hokage felt otherwise. Now they had to deal with the repercussions and blah blah blah...

This village wasn’t even his home to begin with, why should he care?

As he continued walking up the path, he caught up with the rock he’d just kicked and in his rage, he reared back and sent the rock flying. 

Impassive blue eyes followed the rock as it soared ahead of him and only widened as he realized it was about to hit the back of a red-headed woman’s head. 

Subconsciously, he braced for its impact and cringed once he heard the woman cry out.

“Oops...”

Some Chile pepper content bc I care about how each of the Flavor Four have their own special love language and Red-hot's is making sure Dear is well fed before they try to kick his ass

I answered this on a whim over on Retrospring and know people like Flavor Four and Beloved things so here is some "How do the Beloveds comfort their monsters"

Sweetheart - Picks up on a sad Batty fast and knows love and affection are the cure 99.9% of the time. He's often starving for touch if he's having a bad time so cuddling is his fav comfort activity.

Dear - A grouchy Red-hot is a bit tricky to pick up on sometimes but a tell tale is him turning down a brawling match. He struggles with the mushy stuff but he'll still try and often, baking some sweets helps makes Red-hot feel better. They don't even have to be good, it's just the process and participating in it with his partner that calms him down.

Baby - She notices a sad Sourpuss immediately because they are often the most happiest of the four. She is a wee bit awkward with her approach but knows they enjoy sitting in her lap and binging shows with her while snacking on candy so she pulls up her fav anime streaming service, pulls them in, and gives them some sour gummy worms.

Honey - She can pick up on a sad Halite quickly because he's pretty transparent and will often tell her if he's having a hard time. His music and singing also gets sadder. She tends to just sit him down and have him talk it out. And if that's too much for him, she'll just pop on a playlist of his fav songs (she keeps track and adds more and more to the list whenever he seems to find a human song he really enjoys) and lets it play as they just lay in bed together.

I deleted an ask about it since I thought I didn't have an answer BUT IT TURNS OUT I DO-

For Red-hot's favorite place to eat...it's at home.

He prefers his own cooking or something homemade...but often he prefers his own cooking as he is the only one in the squad who can really cook a meal. Not that the others can't cook (Honey can bake since she helps her dad in the Bakery from time to time) but Red-hot makes those meals that fill you up for hours.

He hates fast food with a passion though since, to him, the food is prepared too fast so there isn't as much flavor as there should be due to the rush. He labels it as junk food and butts heads with Dear over it since Dear loves fast food.
