Red-Hot || Deidara & Kushina
hi-no-akai-ito:
Kushina watched him maintain on the ground and her chakra and feral features instantly backed off…this kid wanted to get her goat maybe but a fight? His position on the ground indicated he wanted anything but, though it was stupid of him to goad her if he knew the first damn thing about her. The red head wondered if it was some flaw in his raising…though…her own temper was a result of a lack of raising so it could easily be that as well.
Separated from your village at a young age she knew the kind of paint hat could cause but, she wasn’t sure if Deidara struck her as the type to be weighted by such sentimentality.
“If you knew who I was you should’ve thought twice before thinking you could get away with calling me house wife.” she wanted to add he didn’t have to stay on the ground she wouldn’t hit him but, then she figured that pride that seemed to be motivating him would flare up so she said nothing just stepped back and watched to see what the teen would do.
Deidara carefully gauged her reactions before finally deciding it was safe to stand up again. He dusted himself off as she spoke, huffing when she was done.
“I’m here to pay for my crimes, not make friends or kiss your ass.” he confessed, venom in his bright blue eyes.
He was volatile, that much had been obvious from the beginning, but he wasn’t an idiot. He wasn’t about to actually start a fight, especially not with the Hokage’s wife. Though he had no idea what kind of leverage she had in any of his decision making, Deidara wasn’t about to risk anything, on the off chance she declared him too unstable an entity-- a loose canon.
Still, wasn’t this all unlike the artist anyways? He’d been chained down like a dog and he would rather die than follow orders, but his ultimatum was that he would join the task force, or have his powers sealed away forever. Without the means to create art, life would be utterly pointless and worse than death. He begrudgingly decided to join this worthless task force and his anger at his circumstances leaked out at every little provocation, but she would never understand.
