i think this has a lot of act 3 energies? margaret wishes anders had chosen to rely on her a bit more, by the time of act 3 she can see how the plight of the mages is affecting him, its weighing on him heavily and she wants to carry some of the burden, too.

Don't know what this says about me but I would def pick Cynthia Basri route for the OC dating sim.

23. who thinks they are not good enough for the others love? and who’s more afraid of loosing the other? who thinks they keep messing up, only for the other to tell them they don’t need to worry?

oh pollux for sure and he knows he’s not “good enough” so to speak. he’s all sorts of messed up inside and he’s got bunches and bunches of secrets that no one knows about and all these terrible, awful and gross things all up inside of him. ortega can tell him dozens of times that he cares about him and all of him, but when he finally tells him everything, will that change? pollux doesn’t know and as hard as lying is, telling the truth is worse.

which comes down to the second question which I definitely think is both of them. pollux is terrified of losing ortega and he’s aware of it, but he doesn’t want to admit that to himself just yet. he’s got a lot of other feelings going on. the thing with ortega is like he knows pollux--or thinks he does tbh pollux hasn’t changed all that much really deep down--but he knows how het gets to feeling. how he can be rash, reckless and throw all of his caution away and do stupid things. things that will get him hurt, or things that will get him killed. plus he’s just afraid of now that he finally has pollux back and that he didn’t actually die and just other stuff happened (stuff to be unpacked). they’re both terrified of losing the other.

pollux is definitely the one who feels like he keeps messing up and doing “this” sort of thing wrong as if there’s some sort of way to go about navigating the relationship he has with ortega now. he’s torn between taking the life he has now and running with it and damn the consquences because he has to do something to take control of his life and keep that control, or just falling back into old terrible habits. he doesn’t quite know how to fit the puzzle pieces of his life together just yet and make them all work.

27. who orders take out at two in a morning? and who wakes the other up at three in the morning to go downstairs with them to get a glass of water because it’s too dark?

pollux orders take out at two am because he’s got a bad sleeping schedule and he gets atrociously hungry at the worst times. he’s bad about eating because he’s forgetful or he’ll tell himself yeah i’ll eat later for sure, which doesn’t happen. so he orders take out at 2am and tries not to wake up ortega which doesn’t happen.

if anything, they’d do the water thing as a joke but then one of them would actually do it and it’s like “wait no that was a joke but thank you anyway............”

Das’s eyes light up. “Oh, love dancing!  I mean proper dancing. Like we did back home. With the Lavellans, I mean... There’d be dance-offs every few days... People would stand in a circle and stomp and clap and sing and we’d take turns dancing around the fire... It was so much fun. Good exercise, too! Wanna see my sword dance? I’m pretty good at that... Now... Orlesian court dances are about as much fun as floor sweeping but I understand having fun was never the point...”

3. what is their villain name? why did they choose it?

Her villain name is Heartbreak, and she chose it because… she’s kind of an idiot? Well, not really, it’s more that she’s not thinking ahead enough to realize how suspicious it is to be named after the incident that, like, killed her. More than anything she considers her death at heartbreak to be the end of that life, and now she’s bent on taking revenge for that injustice. Also she thinks it’s kinda funny that a villain named Heartbreak will be the terror and death of her enemies. (She also named her puppet ‘Echo’, so like….. I guess she thinks she’s funny?? What an ass.)

30. what is their love life like?

HAA LOVE LIFE. THAT’S FUNNY. To be blunt, almost none. Like, at all, with one obvious exception.

Pre-heartbreak she and Ortega had a fling, of sorts, but which obviously never went anywhere for obvious reasons (also first willing sexual/romantic contact she had ever experienced). Post-heartbreak to current timeline she’s done a total of nothing with anyone. She can be flirty and forward in her puppet body, but it never goes anywhere physical. It’s too scary, personal, and possibly triggering at this point and she knows it, so she avoids the possibility completely.

(Not to mention she hardly notices physical attractiveness on its own anyway. She didn’t even notice Ortega was handsome until she developed a crush on him, and only notices Herald is good-looking on the note of being jealous.)

Then Ortega happened. Again. She went to his apartment for dinner in the beta. You can imagine how it went down. Now she’s freaking out over the touch/sensory overload she just experienced after years of no contact and is also finally letting the guilt of beating Ortega half to death then sleeping with him set in. :)

“What are you doing?” Meraan asked holding his blanket close to him.

Dorian was kneeling next to the fire. He was sure he’d be able smell the smoke coming from it if he could breathe from his nose.

“You’re sick, I’m not,” Dorian grunted as he scraped the pan on his hand. “It’s called comfort food,” he said presenting him a bowl.

“It’s burnt.”

“You don’t have to tell me that,” Dorian sighed. “Well, are you going to eat it or not?”

“There’s nothing I’d rather do,” Meraan said taking a spoonful, grateful that his tastebuds weren’t working. “I love you so much.”

“Y-you don’t have to tell me that-,” Dorian blushed, “-you... you terrible sap.”
