I am once again asking (nay, begging!) for people to write some Harry/Sophie fic. Any Harry/Sophie fic. Even four years / three seasons in, there's only 90-ish stories on AO3 (and over 10% of that written by yours truly). Please. Someone. Anyone. If you need concrete ideas, just holler or keep reading. Otherwise you really can't go wrong with the classics (Only one bed? Always a banger. Fake married? Yesplease! Big damn kiss? 😭😭😭 Mutual pining? 5 stars! And if you can make a soulmate AU work in a way that doesn't invalidate Sophie's marriage, I will love you forever).
Specifically, I am desperate for a) kissing (alllll the kisses, especially first ones) and b) anything at all to do with the dating storyline in S3. How can it be that these two characters canonically started dating again at the exact same time without them going on a date together? What if they had matched on an app? Maybe by accident, or thanks to Breanna's interference? Or deliberately, of course. What if they had run into each other on their respective dates and ended up with a really awkward double date? What if one of the other team members (my personal fave would be Parker and her very pointed observations) told them to get their heads out of their asses and date each other? What if they were told by the team they'd be a great match, but didn't believe the team and only went on a date together out a spite and to prove they weren't a good match, but then had a great time? What if they were trying to go on a date but kept being interrupted (five times they tried to go on a date and one time they succeeded, anyone?). Or how about this? In 3x05, Sophie is canonically called Astrid's and Parker's "mother". At the end of 3x06, Harry (via Becky) matches with a "mother of two" who loves dancing and has a fish allergy. What if that woman is Sophie and "fish allergy" is her being melodramatic about getting stuck on a shrimp trawler on the way back from Cuba, and once Becky sets up the date, Harry is in for quite a surprise? Et cetera et cetera, you get the idea. And also give me alllllll the Swipe-Right post-ep fic.
