Imp!Asher going to sleep wearing imp!David’s jacket
I keep thinking about an AU in which when a version of you dies, you haunt another version of yourself.
So basically, Imperium!David haunting prime David and seeing him life this life with Darlin, with Asher - but being married to Angel. Not being with Asher. Not seeing Asher as often as he’d like to. But he gets to see Asher happy, he gets to see Darlin happy and alive.
I don’t know at what point he’d start haunting prime David but I’d like to imagine that maybe Asher’s near death during the inversion may have drawn him in.
I’d like to think whenever Angel and David get into arguments, Imp!David pushes prime closer, encouraging David not to waste moments he could be spending with his mate.
Because that’s what he wishes he could be doing. He wishes he was haunting his mate, Imperium!Asher, instead of a version of him that gets to have everything he ever wanted. So he’ll be dammed if he lets himself, even another version of himself, waste this chance.
just got flashbanged by a memory of hearing imp!asher say "i will rip your fucking throat out, leech" id ask his mate to take care of what i want to do to him but the fucker had to go and DIE imp!david get UP
Just your friendly reminder that so far, the only universe where Asher and David were a couple, David died.
Inversion and Imperium spoilers wooOooOoo
I think it's soooo fun how, during the inversion, Asher was bleeding out and nearly died in Davids arms, and in the imperium David did die while bleeding out in Ashers arms.
Oh parallels. How I love thee.
is this a hit or a miss
has anyone ever told you youre like a crotchety old man stuck in a twenty-something-year-old's body?

Has anyone told you that getting on a man's nerve is not a smart decision?
