Did you guys think I forgot about you? Well fear not, for I have returned with a bit of an obscure one today. If you don't know who Marion is, you can check out this post right here that explains it really well. Also the two of them are in something called a box bed, which looks like this. Anyway, welcome to:

Lemontober Day 3: William and Marion

"I missed you tonight, you know. At the gala." A slender figure shuts the door to the cabin's main bedroom, sliding off their jacket to reveal bright sienna skin thinly veiled under a white undershirt. The door to the bed swings open.

"How could you have missed me Marion?" William looks up from his book, sticking his head out of panels of wood surrounding the bed. "You saw me all evening."

"Sure I saw you." They saunter over on the plush carpet, deft hands toying with the top buttons on their shirt. "But I didn't see you." William quirks an eyebrow at his second in command, setting his book down spine up. Marion yanks the curtains of the big bay window closed, obscuring the picturesque snowfall of Vancouver. They zip away from the open side of the bed to handle what William presumes is the other curtain, but he doesn't get the chance to open the bed's other door before he hears their voice again on the original side.

"I saw my house's king, not my William." Marion ducks under slightly to enter the bed, the mattress caving under their knees as they swings their left leg over his torso.

"Who's to say we're not one in the same?" William murmurs, eyes gently taking in the sight of the person in front of him setting down their other leg and pushing up to balance on them. His eyes widen as he watches them undo the bottom buttons of their shirt. His mouth starts to water as they slide it off their torso.

"Because I just invited myself into your bed and starting undressing and you didn't say anything. That and I am also on top of you while you are under your blankets. His Majesty wouldn't dare to be seen in such a compromising position." Marion brushes their leg over the bulge under the covers. William's teeth sink into his lip to muffle whatever noise almost came out. The mischievous glint flickering in Marion's eyes is a challenge, a dare to resist their siren's call when they know he can't.

"You've had a long, long night full of horrible people and forced interactions." Marion coaxes sweetly, walking their hands over so that they're by his shoulders, putting them face to face "You deserve to have a little fun too." Beneath the blatant seduction, there was a tenderness to their words. A care. The belief that even though he was a cruel, cold, powerful monarch, he still deserves happiness, love, and fun. That's what enticed him the most about his second in command, the indulged his humanity.

William sits up on his elbows, bringing him nose to nose with his confidant, their grey eyes meeting in the heat of their heavy breath in the enclosed space.

"What if someone hears us?" William heaves out.

"Everyone has returned to their cabins for the night. It's just you and me in this little box bed." Marion whispers back.

Wiliam looks around quickly, checking his surroundings, before closing the door to the bed. Marion smiles softly. They touch the edge of the bed, and with a low ring, waves of energy pass through the ornate wood. "There. Muffle spell. Now no one will hear us."

With a softness reserved for their bed, William lets out a deep sigh. "You win tonight, Marion." His lips find theirs in a searing kiss. They eagerly return it, wrapping their hands into William's undershirt. Their lips smack together as William tangles his hair between Marion's microbraids, weaving them between his fingers in a desperate attempt to stay grounded.

"You make me lose my composure, you know that?" He blurts out before going in for another kiss. Marion uses their tongue to coax their king's mouth open, and he allows it. Their tongues meet eagerly, eliciting hums of satisfaction and pleasure.

"Yes, that's exactly what I'm trying to get you to do. It's been too long since we've had time together; since you had time to be William instead of the king of the house of Solaire and I had time to be Marion instead of the king's second in command." Marion pants out during a pause for air. "We deserve a break." William kicks off the covers and slides his legs under theirs.

William cups their cheek with a soft gaze and knowing smile reserved only for them. "Yes. Yes we do, my Marion." The two lean in for another heated, passionate kiss, but with a tenderness they could only show each other.

Well that was a doozy! I did not mean for it to get that long and I did not feel like proofreading it but I hope you enjoy it regardless! The Life & Death of Marion Solaire

Ever since I bought Blood & Frost and read through the character sheets of all the Vamps, how could I not cook something up for them? Especially for this new Solaire character!?

So here we go!

Always had this rage against the world in him. Even before he was Turned.

He and his sister, Rosamund were Turned by the same Maker.

It was Rosamund who killed him in self-defense during their Maker's more violent bloodlust against Marion.

The murder took a heavy toll on his sister, and thus, it made Marion hella protective.

The siblings wandered around for a couple of years until Marion stumbled upon William, who was growing his Clan.

William accepted the pair of siblings into the Solaire Clan as he was trying to grow numbers so his group could protect each other better. Not to create an army just like his Maker was trying to do.

Marion became William's second-in-command for his ingenuity and creative ways of dispatching enemies without attracting attention.

Marion becomes William's bed partner after they realise they have a lot in common and share a lot of hobbies. Plus, William found comfort in Marion's reliability and handsome smiles.

William never knows of Marion's rage. That's how good he kept it hidden.

Although both agreed not to be anything more, William gets uncomfortable whenever Vampires outside of the Solaire clan are interested in Marion.

When Rosamund was murdered during the Summit, that rage in Marion made him snap. It was a struggle for him to keep up the plastic smiles whenever William tried to comfort him.

After his death, the painting of Marion that William commissioned was kept in a locked drawing room in his manor. Whenever his humanity slipped, William locked himself in that room.

Only Alexis knew of Marion's existence after she broke into that drawing room.

Sometimes, William can't help but see Marion and Rosamund in Vincent and Alexis.

Oftentimes, William finds himself comparing Porter to Marion and finds himself frustrated that Porter isn't as reliable as him. The guilt that he feels afterwards always disappears after a night, however.
