Something soft encompasses the swordsman as he sits cross-legged on the ground. In his hand, he offers a raisin, pinched between his gloved fingers and arm outstretched toward the base of a tree. A lover of all animals, Lloyd had easily taken notice to the young squirrel curled fearfully among the roots and quickly decided to share his snack.
It was still rather earlier in the spring for young animals to have left their nest. The squirrel isn’t a newborn, from what he can tell, but it looks a bit rattled by its environment. Perhaps it was lost?
Sucking his teeth softly, Lloyd hopes to entice the small animal, which raises its stubby ears and fixes him with a wide-eyed stare.
“I won’t hurt you. Here - I have food.”
