I’m actually wondering what is the relationship between Reader and Princess Iron Fan.

I saw that reader knows Red-son and Red-son looks like he semi-knows her (maybe?)

So would that mean Reader is friends with PIF? Or is reader just acquainted with PIF?

Also does Red-son sees reader as like an aunt or friend? Or like he’s crushes mom figure?

So I assume you are referring the the unofficial chapter!

Spoilers ahead!

Redson does know Reader in that chapter because he met her when MK ran into the city. Mei and Mk are basically dragging him around so he won't tell Mk's dads where he is. And during that time he came in contact with Reader, he finds her interesting but has no clue who she is.

In my fic, Red Boy was born in the JTTW time period so he knows who Reader is. Redson, his younger brother was born right after DBK and the rest of the Brotherhood was freed by Red Boy and Princess Iron Fan.

Red Boy views Reader as a distant aunt while Redson not knowing that she is Wukong and Macaque's mate only views her as a mortal woman who is slowly becoming his crushes mother figure.

Now for Princess Iron Fan's view on Reader, she sees her as a young woman who needs to learn about the world. She doesn't gush over her or treat her much different than others but she does have respect for the woman who saved her sworn brother's life (Macaque).

On more than one occasion she helps out Reader in different life aspects. She even helps Reader wear her bridal Hanfu correctly by adjusting it. She slowly sees her as a little sister, after all she is her sworn sister in law.

Now during the Lmk portion of the fic, Princess Iron Fan is rather... upset with Reader because she is part of the reason the brotherhood and her husband are sealed below another mountain.

She is furious about losing her husband for 500 years. So when she sees Reader again she sees her as a threat, at first until she realizes that Reader is just trying to survive and protect her own children.

So short answer is that Princess Iron Fan sees Reader as someone young who needs to learn and be protected. But she does NOT like how she feels betrayed by her.

🌀 Spiral Doodles n Sketches🌀

A collection of doodles/sketches I’ve done over the past, month or so(idk. No real timestamps lol) time to explain!

1) Bianca (local spirit smoocher) working and overhearing some other gals talking about her.

2) Sketch of my current Wind Goddess Fen PoPo/ChingChing(👈 mentioned in another post) not super important to Spiral but important enough to mention here. I lied she’s kinda important

3-6) Feature Lifen, Chengjiao, Sun Wukong, and two new kiddos + a Bodisattvah. RedBoy and a lil Wolf Gal named Yuui, and Bodisattvah Li Mei Fan (Lifen’s guardian in Spiral; the big blue gal)

6 & 7) Bodisattvahs Guanyin and Li Mei Fan. One initial concept sketch, while the second is a conversation the two are having. (Guanyin I might swap around a bit. Idk just yet but I like her look)

8) Lastly, but not least, we have Spiral!Basteta being a cutie pie. Our local temple Guai who enjoys pestering a little dragon monk from time to time lol

So I guess I’ll info dump lol it’s a lot going on.

Essentially while world building, after my Lifen doodle I figured “hm; well why not?” And threw her in the mix lol. So she’s also going to be a traveller; adjacently working with Chenjiao and Yushu to figure out what is going on, while also trying to go not to get hoed by Heaven and trying not to kill RedBoy in the process lol.

In doing so they run into Bianca; a lotus harvester from the smaller islands who let her stay in her home(and her spirit friend/crush). Jun, a celestial dragon monk and his (secret) partner Basteta, hearing stories and legends about their friends and family they never thought possible in such strange lands.

I’m having a great time ngl; it’s so much fun. And I think Steta might be the cutest thing ever look at her lol face!! Also being a major perfectionist about my art, you know I’m loving it to post all these sketches lol
