REPOST • @authanchen “Knight of the White Prairie”, my latest acrylic piece for that time of the year again! Had a lot of fun creating this piece for the annual Red Envelope Show, and was thrilled to find out that it will be co-curated by @grumpybert and @myplasticheart! For the creation process of this piece, I was initially inspired by giant puppet parades in Europe but also wanted to have fun with some steampunk-ish elements. The red envelopes will be exhibited in MyPlasticHeart in Brooklyn, (40 Greenpoint Ave, Brooklyn, NY), with a show opening event taking place on January 28th.
